And pay them $400 a game? Or just make them a mature age player in 2025?

I'm fully expecting to see Hitchcock, Logan etc playing as "$400" players next year.

Hopefully there are changes at seasons end that will prevent this scenerio happening

Hopefully there are big changes, like the ones i suggested, we really do have absolute morons running our league atm. This was obviously a problem, why wouldn't it be better to start them of weaker and if need be make them stronger the following year. Here's a thought, have them at the very least on both the same restrictions! FFS, if they continue to get results like this, we will have plenty of supporters dropping off, even more then they already have and we wont gain many power/crows fans either. Someone needs to be sacked for this, joke.

No it does bother me! But I've accepted it. Moved on and looked to the future! A national reserves comp would be better, but that's not happening!
But what has bothered me more is the carry on by people on this site are acting like little school children. Embarrassing to be honest.

Wouldn't you rather people 'whinge' in the thread that is named the AFL in SANFL whinge thread.

Remember you don't have to look at this thread if you don't want to.

A lot of these supporters have been supporting this comp for many many many many years and have now seen it torn apart. Not everyone is of the mentality its changed so im just gonna follow along regardless of what happens to our comp.

These are people who get to see their side live every single week of the year, they get to see their reserves players every week, they get to meet and have a beer with their heroes on a weekly basis it creates a lot of passion.

Give it a few more weeks to see how it pans out, but if Port are going to be as dominant as this then they need to make some changes at the half way point of the season. One simple change could be to get rid of any top up player aged 21 or over. If Summerton, Callinan, Bruggeman etc still want to play SANFL they can go in a mini-draft.

Am liking the SANFL vs SANFL games with no AFL influence, but it is hard to stomach the AFL reserves teams beating the SANFL clubs, particularly when that isn't even their number one objective.

I don't follow the SANFL, I follow Centrals. The SANFL is run by a bunch of cowards just looking after themselves and their next job interests.

If (it will never happen) Centrals pulled stumps on the SANFL and said they were playing in another comp, I would be happen for them to leave and I would follow.

Would be wrong to change halfway through the season but yes I think we will see a massive restriction on top up players next year

Wow what a great idea then the SANFL will not be compromised at all!

First to weeks it was bitching about not getting 4000 crows supporters to the game now it's they are to strong to many AFL players.

When Adelaide lose again will it be back to not getting 4000 crows supporters to the game?
