Been drinking a few craft beers after Bennymacca got me onto an untapped app on my phone. Apart from that the occasional cider, g&t, Canadian club and a good $50+ bottle of shiraZ

I should have added- for anybody that is a fan of Asahi, definitely try Kirin, another Japanese lager.

A mate got me onto it a few weeks ago, it is a lovely drop!

Steamrail is also worth a crack if you like Golden Ale. Only ever seen it at First Choice next to the Hampstead.

At 3:30, there was just the one.

My research program will commence this evening at approx 6:37pm when I go through the Watermark drive thru (touchwood there's no flog parked in the express lane perusing champagne).
It will then continue on to the Bay Motel/Hotel drive thru and finally come to an end a couple of hours later in my back shed.
I will attempt to recall everything in a brewview tomorrow ;)

Don't like the pilsner or 'lighter flavoured' beers (Carlton Cold, Corona, Asashi). But then again, I don't like the heavily malty beers either.

Bourbon or Scotch much more than Rum.

Red wine over white.

Love Cider, Bulmers is my choice, always have a slab in the fridge and most nights grab a couple of roadies from the drive thru for the journey home.

finally someone posted sierra nevada!

best brewery on earth, bar none.

ill come back to add a bit more detail later, but as boundaryrider said, i really love my craft beer, and i love trying new beers. only a couple away from 100 different beers in the last 4 months or so since i downloaded the untappd app.

also love my red wine. I have to disagree with a poster above, wine is most certainly matched with food, and if you dont do that you will miss out. If you have food that has subtle flavours, a big shiraz will just overpower it, and you wont taste your fish anymore. similarly with having white whine when having a steak or anything peppery or spicy. need a big flavoured red, otherwise you wont taste the subtleties of the wine.

having said all that i have really only started getting into win in the last 5 years or so.

my recommendation would be to just try different things, both beer and wine. it will open your eyes up so much. particularly the blokes that have said they like corona or any of the australian draught lagers :D

lastly, I dont really drink spirits that much, though i dont mind a scotch or a CC. I still drink them with some sort of mixer, so a really good scotch would be lost on me i would think. havent expanded my horizons that far just yet.

+1 for the Sierra Nevada range

A bit left field, but came back from NZ with a taste for ginger beer and don't mind the stuff coming out of micro breweries here.
