Seams to be a good rivalry building between these 2 teams, dont like each other at all. Para Hills too good when it mattered. Discipline with send offs and down the field free kicks hurt us. One of the umpires was a disgrace, actually phsically grabbed players during some of the scuffles with a forceful manner which ive never seen before from an umpire.

I did notice the umpire get right in the middle of scuffles on a number of occasions and thought it looked dangerous...

I also wondered if others have a view on the white colours the umps are now wearing....... we played Adelaide Lutheren Friday and their gurnsey had a lot of white in it as did North Havens on the Saturday... surely this is similar to a "gurnsey clash" ? I would think the umps should have been in orange to avoid any confusion??? of course they are a law unto themselves but I pity the bloke that flattens one of them thinking it was an oppenent.
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

Fantastic day put on by CLG, and easily the best team we have played this year.

Great day was mared by a few of us having $$$ taken out of bags in the changerooms. I hope those that took it need it far more than I / we did.

[quote="WOS Dragons"]CBC too good for us on the weekend. They are a well drilled side and very even across the park. They played a tough, aggresiame and shared the ball round very well. Very impressive and the ones to beat in my opinion.[/

Round 3 and the ones to beat - bit early mate!

I don't think they have fallen off quickly, too much left to too few in recent times and with these people moving on for various reasons we have what we are left with. On field success can cover up and be misleading as to what's happening behind the scenes. It's up to those at the club now to make sure we get it back on track and implement structures so it doesn't happen again.

Regardless of if clubs have valuables bags or not, I think the underlying point is it is disappointing that someone would stoop to that level and that you can't have confidence in leaving your valuables in your own bag while you play.

They definitely moved the ball alot swifter than any other team we have played so far. Game was played in good spirits and even though the result was one sided, I feel we could take some real positives out of the day.
As said above it was a pity that there was some valuables taken, but we can't go pointing fingers at anyone in particular as there seemed to be many people (from both sides/grades) that could have had access to our rooms at any stage.
Just reiterates the fact that any club should have someone looking after valuables (or dont bring them) if changerooms are accessible to anyone other than those that need it.

Apart from that, it was a really good day and CLG should be proud that on such a day they can bring so many people out to an amateur game of football, kudos goes to them.

In a perfect world perhaps....but in lieu of.....common-sense would be a shopping bag.....keys, wallets, watches,....locked in a car boot...keys in coaches pocket.....home or away... :)
