I see Mt Barker d Hahndorf by 2 pts in yesterday's Anzac Day clash. Good to see a close game after blowouts over the past couple of years.

Lobethal over Echunga with ease. Echunga tired very quickly, a little way to go yet before making any impact I suspect, although Echunga did play the top side!

The country div on a whole is pathetic, major gap between the top few and the bottom few, juniors a shambles, I would be doing what ever I could to avoid going down as well. I'm sure every other club would be exactly the same. Didn't Birdwood kick up a fuss before they were forced to go down?

I don't blame Mt Lofty for wanting to stay up - but that doesn't mean they should.
And yes, Birdwood also tried to stay up and create an 11 team comp and surprise surprise who was one of the first clubs standing up to tell us to suck it up and go back to Country...........Mt Lofty.
Bit of Karma for the arogant pr1cks if you ask me.
Good luck to Echunga, i think they will find it tougher than what they think but all credit to them for giving it a go!

I'm looking forward to Mt Lofty having to wear their away strip/HFL jumper against us at both Mt Lofty and Birdwood like they made us do in our first season up!

Worked out quite well.

Yes i did see a photo of it and it looked quite impressive.
On another note i see a few Ins for Echunga on the clearance page, namely Lachy Fleet and Jesse Aish from Norwood??? Very interesting

Lachlan Fleet is an interesting one. He's living interstate so I'm guessing he will only play when he is in town.

Jesse Aish is a handy inclusion for Echunga - and with Fleet it makes the forward line a bit more formidable. Brodie Fleet and Dave Edmonds were back also as of last week.

Echunga had 6 first choice players out against Lobey and it showed.

Most teams would probably have several first choice players out by now with injuries etc... need the depth to be able to cover them.
