The real question to your real question is apart from [tag]carey[/tag] who wants to win a box of red tins? :vom:

I felt like suing the brewery a few years ago as the kids made me drink more so they could ask me the questions.

Elizabeth Football Club will be holding its past players day on July 5, when we take on Trinity College OS, at Argana Park.
Hopefully there are some old Eagles reading this who will come along and enjoy a good social day out.
We did it for the first time last year and it was great fun.
Pig on a spit for lunch. Great entertainment from two clubs developing a great rivalry and the presentation of the Dave Rogers to the best on ground from each side at the conclusion of the match.
For more details, PM me.

Things looking up at the Lodge by the sounds of things, Gun midfielder Jarrad Clark and Tommy Proctor returning to the club for tomorrows game against old coach Carey Payne's Eagles, plus the naming of several emergencies for the B grade things seem to be turning around. Good on them.

No jarrad Clark and last I heard tommy won't be playing either. I'm sure payney can breath easy not having to work out a way to stop jarrad.

Good to see the great man Jaran Blethyn still able to kick goals for WOS. He is a legend at PHOSC winning the best on ground in a GF in 2000.

Still going strong 11 goals in 2 weeks.

CLG too good for Greenies yesterday, well drilled and looked fit (unlike a number of our blokes) and were prepared to run in numbers and support each other.
From my POV the best I've seen this year.

Think its time Greenies started playing and training as a group and not leave it too the same few each week to get it done.
Perhaps a game or two in the B's may smarten a few up who think its their right to play A's...but that will depend on the coaching group to make a tough decision and stick to it when the dummies come out of the cot.

Massive game next week for us, percentage will probably be a factor when it comes to the sharp end of the year, so we must turn things around now.
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

Agree, CLG played very well and are the measuring stick. Let's be careful not to overreact! Pretty simple that Greenacres have had a real testy start with playing Para Hills, CBCOC, LUTHIES AND CLG in our first four. Easy to blame fitness on CLG result or stating that some should be playing B's etc. were those same comments relative in a come from behind win against Luthies the week before? No comments on this forum regarding fitness then.

A week is a long time in footy. Don't prepare properly and attitude 10% off and you are in trouble. The players need to regroup and be positive going forward. That will be the coach and players focus. We don't shy away from our responsibilities. We will not accept that performance but will work hard to rectify it. We will accept blame, own it and respond.

Congrats to CLG, midfield very strong and forward structure outstanding. Harvey is a very good player. I was a bit surprised however that after being belted like that, I organised every player and member of our coaching group to attend their bar and have a drink, which we all did. Not one CLG member or player spoke to us. When we play at home it is customary and normal practice for us to mix in with the opposition and buy them a drink - I thought every club did that - obviously not.

Apoligies for that, being a triple header 5pm on a Saturday is a very busy time for allot of our committee and support staff...allot of players went home to shower before presentations aswell...brahma lodge can vouch for us that it was a once off. We will return the favour on the return leg

some go home and some shower at the club..i dont take notes..IDGAF what they do tbh..would you like it to be compulsory test? :)

i will also reiterate scottroos apology..i was pretty cooked after starting at the club at 8.30am..after the game i spent a while in the changerooms discussing a few things..by the time i came up to the clubrooms i just grabbed a drink and melted into a chair..my bad..it was an oversight..

we were lucky enough to win the toss and kick with the breeze and establish a lead..i thought we won the game in the second when we held the dragons to only 1 goal with 4-5 goal breeze..i thought they ran the game out ok and the last quarter was even scoring wise..they have had a very tough draw as stated and we have had an easier one..we know we have 5 serious games coming up and look forward to the challenges that brings..

Greenacres obviously didn't do it either? You're pointing the finger, but obviously no one from Greenacres spoke to anyone from CLG either. If it's normal practice for you guys, what was stopping you approaching them?
