I was there B & W and enjoyed the standard of the contest. Cheered the boys off as they went down the race but I reckon Godsy had a bigger smile than any of us. Good to see Don Barker still supporting the Panthers, he is one that has supported the club through thin and thin.

yes, i think that smile was one of relief..

South only made 20 rotations for the match, because of game ending injuries to 3 players n the first half.
Ahchee played the last 15 m at full forward because he had done a hammy...the fact that we were in front at the 20minute mark of the final quarter was a minor miracle after being a couple of goals behind at 3/4 time...Im pretty disappointed we lost, but in no way am I disillusioned.

Plenty in it, Crabby went down like a dying swan, when he realised all 3 umpires had missed it (?) but the entire grandstand saw it, he was up and about and chasing Boyd, fortunately cooler heads prevailed. Gota love Crabbies passion for the club, he's the first to let any ex-players know of their betrayal, yet off-field you couldn't meet a nicer bloke.

Yes, that was right in front of our commentary position with RPH...

It was later revealed, by a source very close to the big man, that Crabby actually copped it in the upper chest reigon but threw his head back looking for the free kick, which as you eluded to, was un-noticed by the umpires...

I did notice that the big fella from KI managed to clip Boyd across the chin with an errant shin as he ran towards the boundary line and Boyd had sliden over the line, taken in a tackle...

I did hear that a referral was put in by an umpries official from the incident involving Boyd on Crabb but the camera was panning on the play and it was too far off the ball for it to picked up in shot...

Agree, though, gotta love the big fella's passion...

Correct, I saw in pretty much right in front of me. Everyone saw it - just not the umps.

Typical little "cheap shot" sniper Boyd is!!!

If you want to discuss loyalty, look at Brad Crabb. Does not leave when the going gets tough chasing premierships and $$$'s.

Boyd on the other hand.........
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Crabb is a good player and obviously very loyal and South need this attitude from it's players. South need culture and this is what helps build it.
