Was at the Hamley game today. Crikey - 20 goal lead at half time.... Heberle kicked 8 and couldn't get in the best 5.

I hear that the APFL is introducing the mercy rule of 90 points to A GRADE games involving hummocks

The people responsible for the decisions made in the last 8 months regarding the direction of the club must be very proud

Mercy rule, score for loser is adjusted to be no more than a 8 goal loss.

So all 3 games it applied this week it appears.
Just looking at the scores I take it 12 goals is the cutoff for senior colts?
How is the rule being accepted by clubs in your comp?
Not in favour of rules like that myself but as long as it works thats all that matters.
Wonder if the BL&G will look at a similar rule, been some horrible beltings in the junior colts and usually a couple of 100 point thrashings each week in the Senior colts, our juniors were beaten by 160 and the senior colts by 150 yesterday, ouch!

Perhaps not to live in the past and think that how it was 6 to 7 years ago is how it is now

The mercy rule call was obviously tongue in cheek, no club should be encouraged to " show mercy" , particularly at senior level

It's no secret that a number of people have left the club during this time, including a favourite son, to the outside this would suggest that the decisions being made regarding the directions of the club have not been seen as favourable these people in particular

One of the decisions saved more players than it lost

Did they sack that bloke that got the 3 weeks?
If they did, maybe his Salisbury North mates weren't too impressed.
Will they all be back at Salisbury North by June 30?
