Yes, good call morell, never a pretty sight when an ambo turns up to a footy game. For those interested in his well being Brad snapped both tibia and fibula clean in half. He will require extensive surgery with rods and pins and obvoiously miss the remainder of this season and maybe the next. The people of Fitzroy were amazing in their help and I have nothing but admiration for the whole club. Then to continue the game after the long stoppage and play with great spirit then come in to the club for a beer afterwards showed your true colours. You have done your club proud.

On a lighter note, the argy bargy between old timers Harty and Lecky was classic, Joe played behind the footy for a change and every time he got the footy Harty called out you're clear old man go you legend, Joe kept at him saying I don't need your help, Harty kept saying, oh yes I think you do.

Grass roots footy is alive and VERY well. :)

Great day at Mitchell Park--had a good chat to Scott after the game and they is on the right path and well led.
Any team that thinks they are going to turn up and win--Beware the players that wear their jumper do it with great pride and a good work ethic.

Great hospitality after the game and made to feel really welcome--And as a club that has been in a similar situation we certainly have enormous respect for the Mitchell Park FC.
Hope the young fella that went off to hospital is recovering well and all the best for the rest of the year.

Not sure what u are saying here mate as B4E has nothing to do with Mawson Lakes. He actually umpires another clubs B grade.
Ah ok just thought he was one of you guys.
Im not involved directly with Mawsons at this point in time. I however still keep a close eye on the results and I also have family still involved there. Even though I am currently involved with another club. Doesn't mean that after 14 years of service for Mawson / St Pauls I don't wish them good fortune. I still hope that they are successfull and win as many games as they can. They're in a bit of a rut atm. But its still early and every club is pretty close.

Been a few amazing results over the past 3 rounds eh. Some very surprising. Looks to be a very interesting 2nd half of the year. Hope Mawson Lakes can have a better 2nd half than their first.

You guys are doing very well. Woodcock still kicking butt i see.

Didnt he kick a fair few goals in the A grade last season?

Isnt B grade a option for him or no?

Do you think the game between Mawson Lakes and Fitzroy is going to be a important game to both sides as a win or loss to both sides could be the difference between fighting to stay in Div 6 or fight for a chance to play finals??
