Postby Big Phil » Tue May 20, 2014 1:27 pm

The Panthers will be keen to bounce back after their big loss to the Magpies, while the Crows Reserves will be annoyed at giving up a 5 goal lead and dropping the game to Norwood...

Sunday, May 25th

Curtain Raiser - TBA

League @ 1:10pm

Broadcast - 1197am 5RPH from 1:00pm

South should win, and win well.

Adelaide have no heart or unity at SANFL level with top-ups coming and going, making it very difficult to find consistency and team spirit.

South will bounce back after the loss to Port.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

Crowd prediction anyone? Could be it under 1K?

South obviously have the smallest supporter base of the 8 SANFL clubs. Thankfully we are playing decent footy at the moment.
The Ravens supporter base consists of Chapman, Trigg and a couple of loyal parents.
The Crows are playing at 4pm on Sunday.
Dumb programming.
Compromised match that doesn't warrant league status.
Sheer novelty factor may pull a few through the gate.
SAFC- 60 years...
StKFC- 58 years..

How is the Crows effort to promote this game urging fans to get down to Noarlunga to watch the 2's then stick around to watch the 1's in Jimmy Deane's with the boys.....

Yes I think the attendance at this game will be a worry...very poor programming IMO would have been better on a Saturday night perhaps, Im thinking the curtain raiser may drag a few through the gates but I would expect the crowd will be cloer to 1000 than 2000. So much for Tricky Trigggys 4000...
Panthers need to get a win after last weeks loss. The Cows line up looks pretty good on paper, but so does the Federal budget..Panthers by 15pts. :D

Why is this game being played on the same day as the crows in melbourne. I find some of the programming of games in SANFL& AFL completely mind boggling. Surely if the sanfl were expecting good crowds for crows sanfl games you wouldnt put them against each other

South to win by around 6 or 7 goals I'd say, no reason to think they will not bounce back.

On programing, absolutely mind boggling. Why this game wasn't played today, and the North Port game played tomorrow is beyond me.
No Surrender!

Doesn't matter what day it's played, it won't draw more than 50 Crows supporters. :?

A couple of Crows players joined a few of the South lads in going to primary Schools this week to promote today's game and run a skills session.

Still trying to figure out how the SANFL clubs can generate new young supporters to follow them when they are competing with The AFL clubs for interest!!!!
