They got money because they dont over pay players. Highest payed is the coach greg. Rumours are he is on 30k a year.

Moonta would be pushing a 100k if not more on players. Kadina would lucky to be half that

Guarantee ya the hounds are nowhere near that total. Demons and maggies definitly up there. Small towns like paskies need to pay the money to get players .

Yeah agree smaller towns would need to pay more players to keep their numbers up. Paskeville seem to prefer to bring in big names instead of promoting their own from what I see. Moonta having a big spend up but will probably cry poverty next year.

You build it & they will come, best facilities on the YP
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

The Eagles are certainly better than most people thought. Very even all over the ground. Great win vs Kadina last week. Kadina are still flag favorites and with the team they have the premiership is theirs to lose. A few of their big name players have their head in the clouds and expecting things just to happen. The last couple of losses might do them good. Fantastic for the comp to see the eagles up and about.

Taylor reported for calling the umpire an old fossil. What a joke of a league. Also happens to be an umpire that has played all his life at moonta . In his 70s and still still umpiring. Give it up. Moonta def better side in the end.

Your right mate. It is a joke . That same umpire is the reason the league is short of umpires . If he got reported for that he should get a pat on the back for stating the obvious!

##MISSING## For the last 3 weeks or so ..........nobody has heard from our front running bloodhound mate WESTY..!!. Has anybody seen or heard from him. Im becoming worried about him. Not a word since Kadina has lost the last 3 games and he asked the question if Moonta football club were the real deal! It is so unlike him not to share some of his opinions with us all.
I have heard that the great Westy is in actual fact named after the 80s hit GO WEST by the PETSHOP BOYS which is about 2 young men coming out of the closet in Russia and they walk off hand in hand to the promised land.
Storey is Westy may have got some inspiration from this tune and was last seen heading off into the sunset with a new mate he picked up whilst playing the Cougars at breakback mountain.
As I said we are all very concerned about Westy so if anybody has seen him please let me know.

Only update I have had on Westys where abouts is that it was actually Craig Taylor he was walking with hand in hand to the promised land. Apparantly Westy likes his men with tats!
