Yes, me too. Has been carrying a footy injury for quite a few weeks now, from what I have been told...

Leigh Ryswyk - I've been a big fan of his and he has chopped the eagles up on more than one occasion. But has he been playing well enough this year to deserve a place in the team? He seems to have been well down on previous years.

I would also have thought Webb is lucky to be in the side given he has was out of West's side earlier in the year. Surely Baulderstone is more deserving of the second ruck spot?

The other player I think is lucky to be there is Bode.

So Collier, Baulderstone and Ainger were added a week ago and then cut again straight away? Seems odd.
Bode possibly preferred to Caire who missed one game recently with a hamstring niggle, played last week though. Habel picked after just one game back from injury. Very surprised Webb made the team, possibly strategic as he and Brooksby can both go forward.

Webb had a pre season of 3 weeks and played the first 2 weeks in the reserves. He wasn't in the reserves on form just fitness.

VFL squad has been cut to 32. Will cut down to 26 by Thursday.

The current 32 features 9 Port Melbourne players and this is for two reasons.

1. The Port Melbourne ground (North Port Oval) is hosting the state game and is the smallest of the VFL's ground. In close, in tight footy is called for here.
In fact, the good ol' House of Pain has something like a 90-95% win record for the Borough over the last 6 years!!

2. Port Melbourne sit a top of the VFL ladder with a 7-0 record... looking eerily similar to their 2011 undefeated year.

The BIG V squad of 32...

Anthony ANASTASIO Williamstown
Chris CAIN Port Melbourne
Scott CLOUSTON Williamstown
Adam COCKIE Sandringham
Myke COOK Sandringham
Jesse CRICHTON Werribee Tigers
Ben DAVIES Williamstown

Alik MAGIN Bendigo
Adam MARCON Williamstown
Nick MEESE Williamstown
David MIRRA Box Hill Hawks

Well it matters to a few of us, the Life FM crew made it to Melbourne in one piece, the radio gear works at the Oval (great oval by the way)

Now checked in hotel and we have time up our selve to enjoy being a tourist for a few hours.

Well, we are supposedly a pretty introspective mob in this state but this might be taking things a bit too literally.

Its not state footy ffs!
Its just a inter-league game.
How many Victorian's in our squad and to see Nick Lower running around with a big V on is a joke
