Yeah on one hand you have Enright trying to throw it on the other you have the umpires trying to get Geelong up

And the winner is the umpires.
Nights like this i think Fvck I hate Geelong, but then I think of all the good times they have provided for me :D

Good game. But bugger me, is there another side that can be tackled all night and just drop the ball without being penalised? Happened all night, and I hate whinging cos that was a great game of footy, but no way did the best side win tonight. I'm filthier than I have been for a long time. Dead set dirty.

Bit more karma for the cheats in 95. 12/12 at Etihad against Carlton now.
My cousins son played well for the Blues though, just wish his brother could lend his knees :(
How many other sides will have a 115 point turnaround this round? ;)

Im with ya mate and i'm a neutral, Geelong have been doing that for years. on the positive side don't think Selwood got a high free kick tonight, mainly cos he did'nt get anywhere near it.

Some ignorant people seem to have conveniently forgotten the Cats players who got hit high tonight with no frees paid as well as for the only time ever in the AFL an umpire calling play on when a player is having a very important shot at goals after already have started his run up.
And just remember if the ball comes out in the tackle its play on.
Tom Hawkins guernsey must have magically ripped itself again tonight, the full back held him every time the ball came in. I saw one free paid.
I would have paid Menzel that free kick though, but I'm biased as he's related. ;)

Selwood's a champ, no doubt. Just feel screwed. Bugger footy. And bugger wedgie if he does the double on me this weekend.

Take ya Geelong glasses off mate.
He had 2 shots at goal earlier in the night that was very lucky the same thing didnt happen.
Play on has been called before, i know Franklin has been after he has started his run.
Menzel should of got free in last 30 seconds.
Robinson should have got free for Lappin running into him.
Brad Scott now just saying how ******* lucky they were with the umpires tonight

Don't know if this should go on the "What gives you the shits" thread.

David King is a moron. Said tonight if Carlton won it would be "One of the great all time wins".....

For **** sake i don't need to explain my opinion.

Peter McKenna would be spewing with his words in the 90's. Made more sense that that idiot in 1/8th of the time....

Not Geelong glasses, just saying what happened to even it up.
Umpires either way tonight were nothing like the ride I've seen Hawthorn get for the last 7 years anyway. They talk about how the games between Geelong and Hawthorn are close but they're usually 6 goal games with the umps making it 1 goal games.
I can never work out why the umps don't give Geelong a fair go, I know the AFL wants an even comp but surely the best side to watch in the comp for so long should be at least rewarded with fair umpiring. It's not like we get the home games every other club in the comp does so we're already disadvantaged every year! ;)

There could have been a half dozen frees in the last minute. Umps did well to let it go.

Can't wait for Mick's presser.

Selwood may have kicked the goal to put them in front but I tell ya what if it wasn't for Guthrie in those last few minutes then they lose.
He's a good footballer.

Or finals, oh hang on a minute.....

So who decides that Geelong don't play Carlton, Collingwood or Essendon at Kardinia Pk?
Is it the AFL or is it the Cat's choice?
