Just to go completely off topic, anyone catch the new CSI last night? I wonder if it's actually just a once off?

When people say "happy go lucky" it means nothing. People don't have a "go-lucky" personality. What's the opposite? A "miserable go shit" kinda guy. Imagine that?!? "So what's this tony character like?" "Yeah he's a bit of negative kent, a real miserable go shit sorta spud!"
The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

Was watching a news coverage or something and the weather came on. They said its 18 degrees but feels like 14. Doesn't that mean its 14 then? or surely 18 feels like 18!!

The wind chill factor and the heat index have been used in meteorology in North America for years.

In essence, the wind chill factor is the apparent decrease in air temperature your body feels due to the flow of air. This factor will always determine a lower reading than the air temperature reading.

The heat index applies when this apparent temperature is higher than the air temperature.
