Clinch's was a hell of a lot worse as he hit Newton on the top of his head. Flynn's was a side by side bump.

Both incidents were classified exactly the same, intentional, high contact and high impact. One delivered a five week suspension and one two weeks, why?

Because if you have a good record, you get a certain percentage discount and if you have a bad record, you get a certain percentage added on after the initial points are added up.

Flynn hadn't been suspended before and Clinch had.

Didnt look like a 'side by side' bump on tv tonight.

Exactly. Did you see the vision?

Kane had his head over the footy, Flynn came in and bumped him in the neck / back of the head region...

I'll bow down to peoples better judgement on the Flynn issue until I see footage. I had a strange view of it, despite being 25m away from it, I was looking through a 200mm lens and lost vision for a fraction of a second as I pressed the shutter. Got some good photos at least! I'll post some when I get home later

Shaw is developing nicely, needs to put some bulk on his frame, but has a great pair of hands and is a nice kick.

Eagles put in a real shift and couldn't have realistically done more, but half a side of pro players with superior fitness was the difference.
So now I've had my two weeks straight of GAYFL and talk about a waste of effort because those games are no more meaningful then March trials!
Atmosphere crap at Candy game, a bit better at Alberton yet unlike before. Oh and I see the crowds numbers are way up across the comp

if there is any video then it will be withdrawn.

Video looks pretty damning. If he doesn't know how to play football then he can **** off till he knows how. He's already sooked off home once hasn't he?

Yeah, living on the other side of the world, feeling a bit home sick while dealing with your Grandfather's imminent passing.

Some, including me, might think you should **** off until you know what was going on?

I've got a pretty good feeling he's a better footballer than you'll ever likely be after only a very short time playing the game.

Ok, fair enough.

Maybe he can use his 2 weekends off to get back home and see the family again!
