From Adelaide now

Berry revealed former Test speedster Tait’s first-class comeback for SA was contingent on fitness and where he decided to reside with Indian wife Mashoom Singha

“He will come back and do pre-season work with us. I value Taity and want him around our group,” said Berry.

“The door is always open for Shaun Tait.”
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Free country Bucko. Maybe some of us **** who don't have as much talent as Tait get frustrated when he opts out of having a genuine crack at representing his country.

T20 riches Vs Baggy green.

Some of us figure there's enough cash in the baggy green. Some of us don't. "Free country" indeed.

I'm not privvy to his medical records.

If he indeed has suffered from mental health issues, I feel for him and wish him well.

It was reported at the time he quit Test/FC cricket that he was suffering from depression.

Agreed. My thoughts on mental health are expressed in the Jonathon Trott thread. So you can read that or just go on your prior judgement if you like smac.
