Have I missed something here, which game?

Thought I read in the local paper that the Balak games is under lights this week. I'd better check again in case I'm the only one standing in the dark at Ralli park this weekend :shock:

While drinking my xxxx cans under the verandar at two wells I witnessed a great game of footy, mallala played well all day had a lead by 6 goals at 1 stage and two wells fighting spirit pegged it back to lose by 7 points! Some great accurate kicking for goal and some very good hard country footy! What a day!

Pretty bad.. Apfl umpires let a lot more go which is better for the game. I noticed they crucified defenders, it was near impossible for them to spoil without the umpire pulling some sort of free kick out!

With the Bombers and Roosters both losing yesterday the ladder at the half way Mark of the season is;

1. Hamley 14 Pts
2. Two Wells 10
3. Balaklava 10
4. Mallala 9
5. Virginia 8
6. United 7
7. Eagles 0

Can the Peckers hang on for the finals or will they be passed by both of the Magpies and Rams?

Will be interesting to see if any of the clubs pick up any last minute players, i'm hearing there is a couple of clubs offering some decent incentive for players to come to them from successful amateur sides..

I've heard of a few names from newly promoted division 1 sides Port Districts and Portland linked to Virginia. Anyone else heard anything about this?

Surprised to see Anthony Johnston has retired.

Congrats Johno on a great career. Damaging player for an extended period and all the best for the future.

Still don't know how to spell your last name. :oops: ;)

I doubt it, points and budget would have to be a concern.
