He'll get better protection when he moves clubs I reckon...

It would also help if got some protection from his team mates when he is being tagged. I N THE GAME AT Geelong Guthrie smashed him all day long without the slightest protest from the Crows. The guy was moving like Steve Johnson today and he badly needs a chop out.

I'm not sure we actually have anyone that has the ability to protect him effectively. Thompson has the build but IMO not the smarts to be able to give Dangerfield the protection he needs. Dangerfield hardly ever is able to do anything this season without some sort of pressure, when he gets support and learns to shake a heavy tag his decision making will improve - at present this is his biggest downfall. That handball to Smith was never on and he has made a couple of decisions like this in crunch games of late. At the minute at any of the top four sides he would dominate IMO. I also think we are currently lacking another couple of genuine stars, the good sides are harder to tag because you go to one and someone else steps up.

On last nights game I'm so glad that we lost by more than a goal - the umps didn't cost the game - poor early kicking from Bombers pressure on the scoreboard did - you can't kick 2-6 to 7-0 and expect to win a game, rubbish first quarter costs us a game. So what if that goal hit the post in the last - a week ago Betts was running in the stands and we were given the goal! All I have seen on social media is how we were robbed, this is why the majority hate Crows supporters.

That's one of the problems with this soft competition. The days of someone coming of the wing or half back and cleaning him up are gone. The MRP favours the little grubs we call taggers.

Dangerfield 3 absolute crucial blunders late in games this season.

Does he buckle under the pressure???

Is this a giant monkey on his back????

Jaensch 100% deserves to be in the side, uses the ball better than anyone else in our side besides smith and reilly.

but i do agree that grigg should get a game, and now. he and brad crouch should come in for martin and wright next week
wrighty had 26 yesterday.

If Brodie Martin is ever picked in the Crows lineup again, I will track down Sando and punch him square in the plums!!

I am tired of hearing how good the Crows are and how good they are going to be.

Crows are a bottom 4 team.

Management needs a wake up call.

We cant get rid of you because of how important your experience is.

But come on guys....
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

Id be careful there mate. Showdowns are always 50/50. Both teams are always up for it so you might eat those words.

Look Dog I would agree with you to a point. The crows have some good talent that in my opinion is not been managed correctly. Grigg is the best example of this.

The crows at some point need to get some games into the younger players.

I don't miss reading the Crowvertiser every day and listening into the jabbering idiots on 5CrowCrow. However, I couldn't agree on your assessment on how good the Crows are. They aren't world beaters of course but bottom four?? Nah, mid table and very inconsistent. I reckon the Crows, Carlton and Geelong are all of a very similar level this season.
