Perhaps GL have a prob playing on a sMALl ground ;)

to be fair, our record at most ground is pretty ordinary over that period.

I knew we were in for a long day when I got there half way through the firs qtr to see us 6 goals to 1 down. Didn't get much better either. Tough times at the bay, even by our standards, but I keep turning up every week. I hope the players hurt as much as I do after a game like that

Or maybe its just that Norwood have been very good in that period and the Bays shit

And if you go back to the 10 or so games before that it would the other way around with Norwood being shit.

I was thinking exactly the same thing during the 1st quarter with only about 50 odd in black n gold. Not everyone wears
club colours, so maybe 100 or so Bay folk. Still very disappointing, you'd expect a crowd of at least 3 or 4 thousand at a Redlegs
Vs Tigers game. Congratulations to the Glenelg faithful who did go. You are what football is all about and when 'the wheel turns',
as it surely will, you will be the ones to enjoy the spoils all the more for your dedication. We know the feeling !

I'm pretty proud of the Norwood crew who congregate around the players race as the winners and losers trudge off too.
Except for one peanut who called an inoffensive jibe and was hushed, we just watched the Bay boys quietly leave. Everyone
knew Glenelg had been flogged and I was moved by the silent respect shown. Perhaps because we've ALL been there.
Or maybe because most of the good banter had been used up during the game. As it should be.

A couple of flags must be making me soft. I missed the perfect opportunity for a killer line whilst walking out to the Norwood
huddle at quarter time. We were just walking past the Bay huddle and being deafened by Nick Stevens who was ripping his
players 'a new one' and tearing them to shreads with a monumental tirade of insults and abuse. I swear, if he had stopped for
a breath, I was within micro-seconds of yelling out .............. "IT'S THE COACH'S FAULT !!!"
;)

Speaking of funny jibes.

Central vs Crows a fortnight ago.

Game over Crows players had gone down the race and walking through the outside fenced part before getting into the changerooms.

Then came from some larger 20 something looking lad

"Why don't you f**k off out of our competition.........................................................................you don't see me trying to play AFL do you!!!!

I had tears rolling down my face

Sabre we all know it has always been the coaches fault at Glenelg for the last 10 years .... all 7 of them !
And yes I know what you mean about the Norwood people keeping silent as those poor bastards were suffering enough and no taunt could have made them feel worse. Even Fester refrained which is amazing.
Never seen such a small Glenelg supporter base at a Norwood/ Bay game. If you want your side to put in surely the supporters could give more support than that.

South are not exactly world beaters so I should stay out of this but for all the people who bagged Massie last year just take a look at the mess your in.
The Bays woeful form has to go back to the coach. They are worse than last season.
I thought last season despite how average they were there were signs pointing twords better days ahead, but as per crap club just like we had been for so long take the easy way out and flick the coach again!
If only Roy Laird had a twin because if he did Glenelg would be well advised to get him!!

Until the Bays get done by twenty five goals by a team in the same competition then I'm not convinced this is a fair comparison.

Glenelg's problem is that Mark Mickan > Kris Massie > Nick Stevens.

Change for the sake of change keeps the board in their positions and eases up the rest of the club.
