Even more sadder to hear that. AV must be the bogey team of 2014, that's 3 players now with season ending injuries against them. :(

yeah what i saw was the rosey player changed his line and the AV player tried to change with him but on the push off, his leg raised and collected ankles i think, pure accident.
ump gave him a yellow, as he should have, but then said to the AV player he has to give him another yellow when he found out he broke his leg.

on another note i see Phil Hall is coming back to the Units.

Surely the umpire wouldn't give a yellow for an accident unless he genuinely believed the act to be either reckless or deliberate or with malice.

Sorry but changing direction and his leg came up and collected his ankle resulted in a broken ankle/leg in 2 spots to the player is difficult to believe.

Having said that I wasn't there, I didn't see the incident - i'm only commenting on how it sounds from an outsider point of view.

i did do my research and the way its graded is a load of rubbish Severe or high even for a broken ankle come on

kicking and headbutting get the same outcome yet have worse impact

a trip is pretty much a kick..your saying a headbutt is worse than breaking someones leg in 2 places?? not even close..

Come on you've got to take into account the damage it did! The Rosewater lad may not play again this season because someones stupid act and you are staying he was harshly dealt with?
