West Croydon's trio of Cooper, Wiles & Woodcock would have to be in the mix too?

Pretty good effort from the MPFU Lion Crabs yesterday. A 20 goal improvement from the last time we played the Tulips.

How would you know, you were home in front of the heater. :D

Special thanks to all the Rossies folk, been some years since I have been there. The game was played in great spirit and yes we have improved a lot, but Rosewater had a few outs as well and it would have been hard for their lads backing up after AV last week. Cheers for the jugs after the game guys but I suspect you got it all back and some with us and Uni indulging in your fantastic facilities. Good luck in the finals, you deserve to be in Div 5. ;)

How would it of been harder than any other side? I would've thought winning by that margin would've made it easier.... :?

More to do with crap weather and the knowledge you were going to win easily when you could be in the pub. It's a mental thing carey but you wouldn't know much about that. :D

Is your improvement a result of Morrell not playing? I think from the side that played in Round 2 there are 8 or 9 who didn't play Saturday.

To be fair I didn't play the first game either, but any side without me in it is a better side.

Let's not be too hard on morell he's actually a very good footballer, shame his knee blew up again. We had 5 of our best out with work commitments and Uni exams but the improvement is coming from work rate and a bit of belief. I guess the lads are getting sick of being pumped every week. Massive challenge though this week against the rampant Hawks. :)

This is a little tongue in cheek, but, considering some of the losses and injuries early on, our ragtag bunch of triers are still admirably scrapping away, and, in a very bleak year this is something to be moderately proud of:

Id set up a BBQ and beer table out behind the club rooms. Lots of blokes there would surely love a beer. Again thought this requires volunteers who are already probably stretched as is.

I was told seven Flinders lads donned the marcellina on the weekend?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

6 actually EV, and we've changed the marcellina guernsey to one that resembles a different marcellina. I pushed for RED with red shorts but didn't get my way. :D Maybe we can now become Red White and Blue. ;)
