We only have 6 players aged over 25. 3 over 30, 3 are 26/27
We are not exactly an old side.

Speed is an interesting concept in football. Please don't take this as a dig at you, more is a general observation that often gets overlooked. Leg speed and ball speed are different things. Not all slow sides move the ball slowly.

Not that I think we are slow either :-)

Golden Grove clearly the best side in Div 4. Salisbury West next, then Eastern Park. Whoever the other two sides who make the finals are - they could cause an upset if things went their way and one of the "Big 3" had a bad day. But its the GG v the rest IMO. SW v EP to see who plays them in the big dance. Pooraka, HV, Heccies, Glenunga, Kenilworth to fight out who will make up the five. Not really saying anything you all don't already know.
I'm sure GG will be eager to make up for last year's finals disappointment. Anything less than a flag would be another big finals choke for the Burras..

Craven played at brahma last year?
Are we expecting the Clarke-ratansa boys to get a clearance to SW next?

Do they still have the rule where if you have get cleared to one club and then decide to get cleared to another club in the same season then you have to get the approval of the originial club?
Ie Brahma Lodge to Hills then Hills to SW then Brahma Lodge would have to give approval as well?
What would ever happen if the originial club said no?

once they have been cleared from the original club, the original club has no say what they can do after they've cleared them

It is a moot point now that clearances have closed but...
10.10 Any player registered with a Member Club in any one year and who is transferred to
another league, association or Member Club that same year shall only be transferred back
to the original Member Club within that particular year, unless the original Member Club
agrees to such other transfer.

Yes i agree it is odd, i know my club had to obtain approval from a players originial club 2 seaons ago after he got clreaed to us but had played one game at a different club round 1.
It was noted to the league by the club we had played that weekend, not sure if it was a cheap attempt to get us in trouble lol

Doesn't matter if GG finish top at the end of the minor round does it? Golden Grove don't like finals footy.
Another straight sets exit come finals time wouldn't surprise!!

Everyone just needs to relax, plenty of football to be played before we even get to finals.

Does that mean that SW have technically played an unregistered player in the last couple of weeks?
