There is something wrong when the current top 8 clubs only have to provide 3 players to the Country Championships between them, yet two clubs trying to build are having 3 players each taken from them.

Maybe that is why then the SFL have to have a really good look at themselves and programme a BYE for all clubs who participate in this country championships!!! (Spineless) All other comps have a BYE!!!!

3 each from Hackham & Christies Beach. 1 each from Reynella & Port Noarlunga. Brighton have the bye so it works nicely for them. We lose 3 zero point players whilst others are not impacted at all.

Irrelevant. No Flagstaff players, no Noarlunga, no MVP etc etc. Would also suggest that with a couple of exceptions, not many top line SFL players in that squad. Is this a FU to the SFL?

Must say I was surprised, particularly at the A grade result. I was expecting a much tougher day given Flaggies resurgence, with only the 18's match being a cliffhanger. Was a heartbreaker that one with a goal kicked on the siren to win. Nice to have the shield again though.

On a positive note for all involved, there was good money raised through the day's activities for Little Heroes and thanks to the generosity of the Flaggies people who really tipped in for a great cause. Was great to have Timmy Ginever there for the day.

That's correct, it's not broken. It's complete;ly fractured, irrepairably damaged, mortally wounded, hanging by a thread.....but definitely not broken.
Great to see the board that works in the best interests of the clubs, completely ignore what the majority of clubs wanted. Is there any potential challengers out there? I only hope so for the future of the league. A whole new skill set is required.

I notived the HFL are surveying clubs and their members for their thoughts. Cannot see this ever happening at 'Maroon Town'.

At the weekend, 5 clubs were unable to field an U/14 team (1 third), 5 clubs were unable to field an U/15 team (1 third) and 3 clubs unable to field an U/18 team in their own right (1 fifth).

That is seriously broken.
