You might have to be a bit more specific, as Edwardstown has been dealing with many issues for the past few years with the juniopr split off etc.

Another clean sweep for Vikings on Saturday against the Cobras.

Have obviously read about it here and noted the scores but was surprised by the skill level and competitiveness from the Cove Seniors - particularly seeing as their 18s have played off in a GF for the last few years

Anyone who thinks McKenzie is a thug should have watched the B grade game. Scotty has been coming back through the B grade after having longer than required off after his suspension and at his choice has played more games in the Bs than Dent would probably have liked. That meant he was tagged by a complete tool that spent the day throwing little gut punches behind play, harrassing and annoying Macka regardless of where the ball was. This guy obviously trying to make a name for himself and the only time he wasnt trying to get at Macka was when there was a contest for the ball - clearly he didnt realise there was a game of footy on and the idea is to get the pill. There will be some that say he deserves it but Macka stayed cool and calm and let his skill do the talking.

So what you are saying is an A-Grade quality player was playing in the twos and was respected as such by receiving close attention.

If he doesn't expect to get guys trying to stir him up he should give the game away. He obviously would not react as he would be getting close to being deregistered. Not sure why "tool" would be the label, he obviously did a good job if it requires you to whinge on here.

Define doing a good job - he didnt put Macka off his game in fact I think he got in the best and played a great game whereas his opponent barely touched the ball. And it was more than stirring him up - at one point deserving of a yellow card and had the Cove runner out to him to tell him to focus on the ball.

Marbles would be building an argument why those clubs should join div 7 of the amateur league. As if that organisation is not bloated enough already with clubs self destructing as a result.

yeah but surely in a perfect world you boys would prefer a 12 team comp?

and these sides would prefer to win 10 games in a season rather than 10 games in 5 seasons?

It's just marbles having his quarterly crack at the SFL and promoting the enormous benefits of playing Div 7. I'm unaware if he just simply doesn't learn, or if he's on a commission from SAAFL. Either way, someone needs to bandage his fingers together and ban him from buying any speech recognition software.
