Strong second half by PNU saw them deserving winners last Saturday.

But as you know SFA about our club you obviously would know that even if Cicolella wasn't "shut down" it is more than just the one player as to why the side is struggling to be competitive over four quarters in a Division which ultra competitive this season.

Happy to stand corrected....but am I wrong in thinking your mob went sliding down from Divvy 1 back to Div 3 on a whole heap of "nothing" yourselves not all that long ago.....or could it be your the club arsehole......

Saw SMOSH play Walkies. Cicolella played a blinder first half, kept SMOSH in the game, then appeared to have more interest in giving the umps a serve in the second half. Be interested to see how many votes he gets.

You'd be surprised, he was the best player in the APFL last season but probably cost him the medal.

He always polled well in the SANFL. Finished in the top 3 on at least 4 or 5 occasions if my memory serves me correct.

He may have been quieter back then. Not sure, I just know he was a pain in the arse last year.

WALKERVILLE FC PAST PLAYERS DAY

Walkerville FC are having a Past Players Day on Aug 2nd (Rd 15). The A grade will be wearing a Heritage Guernsey against PHOS/Camden. The guernsey will be the same design the club wore throughout the 1990’s (royal blue and white hoops) but will also incorporate the names of every Walkerville Playing Life Member (100+ games). Some guernseys will be available to be purchased during the day, so if you would like a piece of Walkerville history, possibly with your name on it, make sure you get down to the club to watch the A grade play and grab one of the guernseys. Some drinks and food will be put on at half time.

If you are in contact with other Walkerville past players, please make sure you invite them to the Past Players Day as it will be great to see the club full of past Cats legends.

What did Broadview's coach say to the umpires to only get a fine? Why wasn't he suspended? Just curious

One of our coaches got a 4 week suspension for swearing at an umpire last year and every other case this year for abusive language seems to have included some sort of suspension as a punishment..

Should be a great day both on and off the field.

GF rematch and PNU trying to lock away top spot. The last two games between these two clubs have been crackers.

Might have a cuttla quiet froths and sit back and watch this one unfold. 8)
