Prior still spilling them behind the stumps

Not a great look for Prior, really struggling of late. If his bad form with gloves continue they might give Jos Butler a crack which I would like to see because he his one of the rare pom cricketers I like.

So what did Prior actually do to get back in the side after the Ashes in Australia?

Good question days.

Since playing against us in Perth, Prior has had 11 innings, scored one hundred for Sussex against Middlesex and also made an 86 for England against Sri Lanka. His next best score is 43 and his average from his last 11 innings is 44.44.

How the F**K does India still get away with refusing to use the DRS ? Makes a total mockery of the ICC and World cricket in general.

Prior has been in terrible form with bat and gloves. Strange he was in the team for the sri Lanka series.

Strange, its like when a bowler comes on and gives them a bit of chin music they turn stupid. Its like they need to prove that they are not worried by it. Seems like the Ghosts of Mitch have returned........

Yep, the players also threatened to boycott any media committments with the broadcaster. Was only when the Lankans saw their own footage and arked up that something was done about. 3rd time in 12 months the Saffers have been busted now, perhaps those people who laughed at Warner for suggesting its regular practice by the Saffers to eat their words

That's not the same place where Shane Watson heard ghosts and spent the night in Brett Lees' room was it?

Cooks form has to surely be looked at and his leadership again questioned? could English cricket be any lower than it is now? I love it :partyman:

they doctor a wicket and still cant win

On another note, someone on FB said that Stokes last 9 innings (ODI, T20 and Test) he hasnt scored over 5

They are all down on form, but i wouldnt blame stokes for it, he was about the only one along with Jimmy that could hold his head high.

The problem is who else do they have to captain? Bell is a classy player but doesnt really look like the captaincy sort. Broad might be the only other one capable of captaining the side

Thats a good question. Bell has his own issues and I'm not sure he is up to it. I think Broad has enough to worry about at the moment. I would stick with Cook at this stage. Although he has struggled with the bat hes not the only one.
