Next weeks game between the parkland dwellers is massive. Down the bottom Trinity are a big chance to avoid relegation. Next week's game against Greenacres will decide Trinity's fate.

My final 5:

CLG
Elizabeth
NH
CBOC
Westminster

Relegation:

Para Hills and brahma

we have 12 goals difference to make up on NHFC dols so why would you not back your own club to win?

Don't you like being favourites Zed[WINKING FACE]

ditto dols..

we will wear the favorites tag with pride if its warranted but its not at this stage.. 8)

statistically, factually and with the latest form in mind the favorites are actually EFC despite them sitting in 3rd position on the ladder..

I think it is impossible to separate the top 3 sides at this stage, maybe in 4 weeks or maybe not until the last two games of the season.

My pick for a dark horse is Westminster, rated them both times we played.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Westminster do tend to grow an extra leg come September if they're around the mark.

From what I've seen of Luthies, I'd say that's unlikely.

The game between CBC and Lutheran this weekend may be the defining line between who stays in the top five for the rest of the year and who drops out for Westminster.
The last three games
Lutheran V Havens Loss
Lutheran V CLG Loss
Lutheran V Elizabeth Loss
CBC V CLG Loss
CBC V Elizabeth Loss
CBC V Trinity Win
Westminster v Trinity Win
Westminster V Bramah Win
Westminster V Greenacres Win
Lutheran to finish with 16 points , win SAT 18 Points
CBC to finish with 18 , win Sat 20 points
Westminster to finish with 20 points.
Lutheran must win to stay in the finals .

Id say its as important to win for CBC, as I watched the game against Trinity at Dolphin Park when they only just scraped over the line there.. Wont be an easy game in Gawler for CBC, especially If Trinity can jag a win against Para Hills and be fighting for safety in round 18..

In my opinion Harvey (clg) should win it he will get to 100 in the next wk or two at and average of around 5.5 a game thats bloody good going but if it goes how it normally does a mid will prob win it. Olewenksi (eliz) would be a chance and I think spry (greenies) early will poll well as will threadgood ( cbocc) reid (NH) and spurr trinity could be prominent.. but who really knows what the umps r thinking...

thats what makes it so difficult to pick..harvey will poll well and lost last year by 1 vote but the winner missed a large chunk of games..ollie from your club will be right in it..summerton and laurencic from havens..maybe puccini from cbocfc, newman/warby from wosfc, scholefield/allen from alfc..

You'd think all the games where Harvey's kicked 7-14 he'd get 3 or 2 so he'd be a deserving winner, summertime couldn't be rated higher at havens and will go close to a 3rd b n f never seems to poll well in the medal count, reedy has kicked a few bags for us so he might be our main man

Why do forwards get votes? Everyone else is doing the work to get it to them :D

Zed haven't seen Harvey play and I expect a diplomatic response from this question ;).

Is Harvey's best better than Osborn? These 2 have been big goal kickers in these divisions over the past years and probably kicked as many goals as anyone.

Seen Osborn rip the arse out of sides in 30 minutes not just in front of goals but also around the ground (Brahma, Houghton, Lutheran to name a few)

What are your thoughts mate?
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
