I think it would be about even all the way through history. The only difference now is thats its easier to interact with more people these days with social media. So instead of only talking to people you actually meet, you are talking to sometimes hundreds of people you dont know every week, and its much easier to tell someone what you actually think of them over the internet, with little to no consequences.

I know when me and @spargo meet in real life, he's too scared to talk shit about me like he does on here, coz obviously I would drop him

It was a much more tolerant and respectful society in the late 19th and early 20th century. Especially in regard to aborigines and woman.

They didn't even make them vote...

As we speak, I am waiting to speak to a team leader at Telstra.

So far it's taken 18 minutes for a simple address change, only to be told that they can't change my address because my street number doesn't appear in their system.I called Bullshit (because I worked for them for 6 years)

Why didn't I just change it online? Because somehow they stuck my mothers phone number (which is in my name on an old staff plan from 10 years ago) on my profile and can't change a password without it.

On the upside, it has given my surrounding workmates a source of laughter for an otherwise boring afternoon

*edit* make that 21 minutes and 47 seconds.....
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

There's nothing like seeing others resolve their differences.

It's the feelgood post of the day.

Child Support tried calling me the other day, left a message to call back.. When I did I spent over 20 min on hold and was transferred 3 times before I could speak to someone who could tell me what the bloody hell they wanted

15, 000 overdue notices sent to members that are paid up and aren't overdue.

results in total phone line and email meltdown.

needless to say that Valleys and I are having a bitch of a day!

so if you happened to get one don't call us because a) you won't get through and b) it's been sent in error.
