From that side, who stays, who goes, who comes in?

F: Lynch (Ingle Farm) Williams (Rosewater) Bain (Central United)
HF: Schapel (Mawson Lakes) Hillman (BOS), Curyer (Ingle Farm)
C: Lyons (Rosewater), Pawson (Rosewater), Johnson-Schroeder (Portland)
HB: Cooper (West Croydon), Keast (Fitzroy) , Frith (Central United),
B: Long (Ingle Farm), Nelson (Fitzroy), ?

Ruck: Schar (Rosewater), Demasi (BOS), Woodcock (West Croydon)

Int: Wiles (West Croydon), P. Gossiper (SAFooty) , M. Ell (SAFooty) , ?

F: Lynch (IF) Willams (R) Bains (CU)
HF: Kennedy (L) Schar (R) Hillman (BOS)
C: Rayner (F) Cooper (WC) Porter (CU)
HB: Keast (F) Nelson (F) Woodcock (WC)
B: Voyzey (L) Chilvers (ML) Long (IF)

1st Brincat (BOS), J.Willams (R), Schapel (ML)

2nd Garnell (IF), Reardon (R), Vo (BOS)

INT: Reardon (R), Garnell (IF), Vo (BOS), Weekley (MP), Woodward (CU)

EMG: Demasi (BOS), Curyer (IF), McLean (F), McKenzie (WC)

I'd run with this. Seems funny only having 2 blokes in the side from the minor premiers but I think that speaks volumes of BOS they are just such an even side across the park. I just couldn't fit an Angle Vale player in and I don't buy in to the every team must be represented IMO that's bullshit. I got 1 Mitchell Park player in Ben Weekley deserves his spot no doubt. People may rise the eyes at Chilvers at fullback but from what I've seen I liked. Keast and Nelson across Half back are super tough to get past and Schapel on the Ball has been "Flying under the radars" best all year.

Maybe Kennedy and Rayner didn't play enough games but both from the top shelf. Another I think has gone really unnoticed this year is Tom Porter from CU I obvisouly see him every week but I would be very surprised if he doesn't win CU's best and Fairest.

Happy to be slagged off for my side look forward to reading the abuse why isn't he in, He doesn't play there etc etc oh my god you put him in and so on...........

I think both minor premiers will win straight through to the GF, and the other grand finalist will be forced to go the long way.

Lockleys:
1. Alex Paton - Not sure if this it the bloke i'm thinking of (Tall well built forward with the little Shoemakers pony tail?), anyway if it is, the games i've seen he appears to be Lockleys number one target and option going forward.
2. Daniel Voyzey - Quality player, will run and tackle hard.
3. Sam Naley - Get him out of the B grade into the A grade and he might help them make finals.

Lee Kennedy is Lockleys best player, smart clever midfielder with potent left foot and great hands. He knows where the goals are too, their hardest to shut down. The forward is Hill I think.

yeah we rated him last year..bad miss PG.. :P

where is mazey playing yankman and did pots and harry end up playing in the sfl?

Mazey went to Christies Beach with Harry but has done a shoulder and out for year, Pots has retired to spend more time with family, Spacie is full on kickboxing with his brother and Natter is having a year on KI. All big losses for the club. :(

 I didn't put them in those spots, I thought you did?

Just because Cooper doesnt play HBF doesnt mean he wouldn't be suited to that position - this is just a team of the year side lol, as long as they are in the best 21 that's the main thing ;)

If I did I have clearly lost the plot but pretty sure I didn't. I would have thought Team of the year would go to those most proven in their position?

Sorry my bad! Appears it was Roaring Lion that placed them in those positions. I agree with those most proven, but some players are capable of playing multiple positions and just because they may dominate in their club and doesn't mean they are necessarily the best in the comp at that spot, but still amongst the top players? For instance say Lynch from Ingle Farm - probably deserves a spot, but I would argue he is not in the best 6 forwards in the comp.

Agreed. So who is the best full back and centre half back in the comp? Plus PG the goal scoring tells me Lynch is well and truly in the best 6 fwds. Bain plays as a small forward and spends time on the ball as well, his second efforts are the best in the comp.

Statistics can be misleading 68 goals in 17 games, but approximately half of those against sides outside the 5 and 12 in 4 games against sides higher.

May sound harsh, but if I had the choice of everyone in the division I'm not sure I would have him in the best 6, but I think he has earnt the right to be in the side somewhere.

Who would you take:
Williams or Lynch?
Bain or Lynch?
Stubberfield or Lynch?
McKinnon or Lynch?
McLean or Lynch?
Hargraves or Lynch?
Demasi or Lynch?
Hillman or Lynch?

Who from West Croydon has done the job on the big names this season? Looks like whoever it is has had success against Williams, Bain and Lynch this year.
