Drove past today
About 2:00pm
About 50 people line up to get in
Cars on the inside lane of Port Road were slowed down considerably

Yes Krispy Kreme donuts do taste good
But I'm yet to ever taste a donut from anywhere else that didn't taste good

Last Saturday night around 11:30pm

Looked like close to 150-200 people queued up like the customs queue at LAX. Cars parked on both sides of Rosetta St back as far as the underpass and a drive through queue back almost as far.

I was in Melbourne while the opening was on, it made us look like a more backward-state than we actually are.

The stupid people in our society are only doing something that the stupid people of Melbourne did about eight years ago.

Thought after about a month or so the hype might've died down so went past last night and still a huge lineup snaked right around the complex out onto Port Rd.

Chris Rock was right.

I drove past this morning, around 11am heading towards the Port.

I was in the right hand lane and looking in the car next to me ( in the middle lane of the road ) saw two little kids prop themselves up on the their seats to get a look over the top of their door at the Krispy Kreme wonderland. Should have seen their eyes light up.

Mum in the front was talking, perhaps explaining about this wonderful place.

Popped my Krispy Kreme cherry tonight. Got 2 original glazed doughnuts and a tall cappuccino, they gave us 2 complimentary doughnuts with chocolate creamy stuff inside and oreo's sprinkled on top and then at the next window said because I had ordered a doughnut and drink they would give us another original glazed one too.

Us and one other car behind us were the only customers in the drive thru but while we waiting a good five minutes or so for the coffee to come a number on cars came driving in so was thinking with the empty drive thru and all the freebies they must be scratching around for business but looked more like we just got there at a fortunate time.

Not worth the hype original glazed were alright, the chocolatey oreo type ones were too sickly and the coffee was shithouse, even HJ's cappucino's run rings around KK's.
