Let him be afforded due legal process which we're all entitled to.

If he is found guilty then he should be hit with the full force of the Law, if not, then he should be left alone to get on with his life without prejudice.

How many arguing this isn't a footy-related story posted on the Liam Jurrah threads?

If I saw an untitled link in a thread started about Jurrahs court case and it was entitled "Former Demons player Liam Jurrah acquitted of charges in NT" I probably wouldn't be surprised if it was about his court case as opposed to an untitled link in a thread started to discuss who's coaching Glenelg in 2014.

Easy solution to avoid confusion as already suggested, put a small summary of what the link entails. I don't think that's asking too much?

To be fair, the thread title is "Glenelg Senior Coach 2014"

The link was 150% about Glenelg's senior coach for 2014.

The last comment in the story also goes into Nick Chigwidden confirming that he will remian as coasch at this point in time - that is even football related!

I think whether you consider it football related or not is a moot point. Not hard to post a quick summary of what a link is about so people know whether to bother or not. If it's not interesting enough to rewrite a headline it's probably not interesting enough to post.

Not sure why people are carrying on about Big Phil's link and totally ignoring the fact that the police have brought this case to the courts with very serious charges.

This is very football related, particularly given that parents are considering withdrawing their boys from the club. Disgraceful that given the charges, he isn't being suspended until the outcome. We're not just talking about a player who got in a drunken fight. The police have charged Nick Stevens with abhorrent domestic violence and the club are still supporting him?

Right on cue ...

The club is quite rightly not taking any action as nothing has been proven yet.

Your other claims are laughable.

They're probably just looking for an excuse not to have to follow Glenelg.

Perhaps they should lock him up now and make him pay the fines up front? If he's found not guilty they can simply say sorry and pay him back.

In all seriousness, as long as the Glenelg Football Club have briefed their players (and players parents were necassary) on the charges and alegations as well as the position of the club, he should be entitled to continue in his employment until such time that he is found guilty. Otherwise if the charges do not result in a conviction, his career has not been unfairly interupted and affected.
