My early thoughts are a Sturt win here in a close one. They certainly should get some confidence from the way they ran over Adelaide last week. Should be a cracker and the weather looks good with 20 predicted for Saturday.

Allow me to be the first to congratulate South on what must have been a very emphatic victory. I was not at the game but obviously South blew us apart in the third quarter.
9 goals to 1 wasn't it? They looked a chance to send us to fourth at some stages, which was the real worry.
Sturt perhaps just making up the numbers? Last week's victory over the ravens was very exciting and they showed a lot of desperation to simply overwhelm Adelaide, but with Norwood making raven pie as I type, coupled with recent losses to Port,Central and now South not to mention a near scrape against the Bays,Sturt haven't shown too much to instil much confidence.

Unable to watch the game, but enjoyed the 2nd half on rph. Doesn't sound like I missed much in the 1st half. Pleasing to win without a big contribution from Eddy, and for Liddle in his 100th.

Looking back on the regular season, the loss at home to the Doggies is the one that probably stings the most, and perhaps was the difference between making or missing the top 3. That and being the only team not to beat the AFC "state league" team at least once Even still, 11-7 would be our best regular season since 1992, and there is some genuine confidence going into next week.
