Yeah, Kirkwood and Beard had absolutely no impact on your team....

Pretty sure they're Sturt players, just like Duldig and Kane are Sturt players. Called good recruiting. Your sorry excuse for a club should take note...

We were told by our league director and president [ THE BUMBLING BUFFOON] Jaworski that the North Adelaide Football Club would be voting YES purely for the survival of the SANFL. Because of clubs like your own that can`t get there shit together $$$$. YET somehow you [STURT] were one of the most active clubs in the off season.

Gee that story sounds familiar.
I recall Norwood fans being told that Sturt and West would probably not survive much longer without a YES vote

Hats off to Sturt with the smartest recruiting and the biggest improvement, all whilst on the bones of their arse.

That's what happens when people are passionate about the SANFL.

Personally I have been to more SANFL games this year than I have in a long, long time, probably since the Crows came in when I really think about it. That, in spite of the fact that I have missed very few Crows home games. I also intend going to finals, in spite of the fact Glenelg will not be playing. Yesterday was the highlight, absolutely no lack of passion at Glenelg oval yesterday as we gave a beating to the Magpies!

Recruiting is not the only answer you need development as well to survive & succeed . Norwood have been able to do for 4 years now while losing players to AFL as well as retiring

Didnt think that was possible but after witnessing your little exchange with Wingnut last night I will have to agree.
Did you enjoy lunch yesterday Fester?
Heard from a couple of people that the guest speaker was quite "inspirational"

I attended six games this year my lowest attendance in FORTY FIVE years .

Gave the AFL INTERLOPERS a wide berth.

Gave Alberton away this year one of my favorite grounds where i hardly missed a game against the real mighty Magpies 1870 - 2013 !!

Maybe that's because your team is not playing finals.

You blokes have just got to accept the comp has a Port and Crows reserve team and deal with it. Your like petulant little children bitching every day over it. At the end of the day it is what it is.

Personally I can't wait until next weeks SANFL double header at AO.

Nothing to do with missing out on finals like i said been around for forty five years and was always there watching games in the bad years when we were being flogged all the time a was more enthusiastic going the the SANFL.

All changed this year.

I wonder why ??????

J
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.

Hit em hard let them get up and hit em again.

New Year next year, there is no doubt conditions are changing with Hook reporting of a meeting this week with league directors with Olson not invited to discuss the SANFL and AFL reserves teams. There is no doubt there will be some changes but only to keep the supporters who just want Adelaide and Port Power to be uncompetitive, that doesn't fix the problem. Im thinking may give it a miss altoghether next year and might come back when the AFL finally start with a reserves comp, sad about that but will just surf more!!!!

Seamus has been able to choose his side each week on his own terms. You can bitch and moan about how it's an unpure competition but it was that way since 1991.

Ask a Panther supporter whether they've hated this year. I doubt it!

The sky didn't fall in guys...

Would hate it if we made the Grand Final and Power reserves won.............then the sky would fall in !!!

I've actually both loved and hated this year - obviously loved it because of South's good performance, however, at the same time I have hated it from very early on in the season with the realization that barring a major upset, the power reserves are way too good for the sanfl and enjoy too many major advantages.

The 8 pure clubs have had a more settled season without having AFL players coming in and out of their teams each week, but on the other hand, the presence of the AFL reserves has had an adverse affect on the competition and more so on supporters.
I supported the AFL reserves in the SANFL originally but I was wrong - they should not be allowed to play in the finals.
