Badboy Nitro and W Hill... and I don't agree with Mal or Papas on this.. but I understand why you are saying what you are - because he drove it different this week...

Just remember.. Heeza Hudson has a tendancy to pull hard and was running along at a solid speed at the time a death seat horse came up.. and it was Baron Land..... not a death seat horse.. means he was always going to get the run well before the sprint lane.. I actually think credit should be given for a better tactical drive then just putting them in the breeze and winning... gave his horse a nice soft run and remember this horse did win the St Leger from barrier 7 (using the sprint lane) so he can sprint off a quick pace...

SCD
The luck went his way.
If he was beaten hmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

The run of the day was WELL THATS LIFE
We both thought it was a risky proposition box 10 over 1800m in that race
That was a very good drive by Wayne I thought

Yeah understand your point re driving for luck.. but he was first go at a stand, first go at free for all (if that's what you call that race) - sometimes it's better to look after then gut them all the time...

I'm Not so sure about the drive on WELL THATS LIFE....
he got flushed out 1000m from home on a sit sprint horse.. he could have stayed in and pushed out at the 600m..
Really though they put the race on for him.. spastics like Kings Head / Colby Too / Fake Currency going so hard early.. it was only ever going to be a swoopers race... I couldn't see a death seat horse in the race.. well it doesn't matter when cats like that go 29 second 1st quarters.. they aren't going to be competitve at the end...
