Richmond have the wind so they try and run the ball, turn in circles and kick towards the boundary. How about kicking long through the middle to your full forward FFS

Half time
PP 14-5
RI 3-2

Only interest left in the match is which Port Power player will Morris try and injure in the 2nd half ?
He tried in the first half without success

Why ?
Because no AFL team has won an AFL final at Adelaide Oval kicking with the breeze in the first quarter.
Why else ?

Just a couple injuries now to aid South's chances next week would be a nice finish to the day, but not enough that they cant beat Freo. Injuries can catch up to them the week after ;)

Common senses Mal. A strong breeze is only going to weaken or turn around. Jonno Brown agreed with me saying its Captaincy 101 to kick with the breeze.

Just shit stirring
No side has won a AFL final at Adelaide Oval kicking with the breeze first , because I assume it is the first AFL final at the oval ;)

I'm with you and Brown , you must always kick with the breeze
Early 80s Glenelg kicked with a 5-6 goal breeze v Norwood in a final
The wind swapped around in the 2nd qtr

You're right REB- YNWA it aint. That IS Liverpool.

NTUA is a fragment of Port Adelaide, something that all supporters have taken on board this year, who are driving what a passionate heirarchy incepted, hoping that it would transform Port Adelaide's game day experience for it's fans.

The idea smacks of liverpool imitation, but its a lot of fun for our fans to sing along to at the start of each match.

The suppporters love it, the players absolutely love it- its a success within the walls of the PAFC as far as i'm concerned.

I don't understand why they use that song. Cause in 97 they wer very happy to tear the magpies apart..

Today port were clinical, duplicate that next week and they are a massive chance

Who cares what anyone else thinks except port supporters. Also who cares if they ripped it off from Liverpool. It's not as if it matters.

Watching 7 this morning and I hope Hardwick didn't really say kicking the wrong way in the first quater may have influenced the result. Doesn't matter how strong the wind is if you don't have the ball in your hands....

port are lucky to have one more game than the crows this year.

You seem to be Port's lucky charm, because it seems every post you make about the PAFC (including Polec to the Crows last pre-season), the opposite invariably happens.
