I got told there was one in the Gawler paper that wasn't too bad considering.

Will Mallala risk Earl, King, Cawrse and Montgomery in the prelim?

I heard king was done for the season after knee surgery

If they want to make the grand final they should make everyone available, pretty cocky if they think they can give players a rest for a final they haven't even made yet.

It's always the trade off but they've relied on others to cover topliners all year and got the job done. You'd have to back those guys in, surely?

The question is in all sporting codes! do you risk playing 70% fit first tier players or 100% fit 2nd tier players, Prem finals are always hard to select for and I am sure that both Mallala/Balaklava will choose a side that they think will get the job done, remember one final 3/ 75% fit players chosen and losing all 3 before half time, always a hard choice to make.

Rumour has it that earl is the only 1 that is possible to come back this year, the rest are out for the season!

Two wells is my favourite team to watch as a spectator, but if I could choose any other team that I would want to win the flag I would pick balak! Sneak into the finals by cms then win the flag, that would be gold!

I'm pretty sure if these guys are fit they will be playing tomorrow.

The suggestion that Mallala may possibly rest them for next week is rediculous - they've each already had a month off.

Keeping in mind Balaklava flogged Mallala by 50 odd points earlier in the year, I can assure you that the pies are not underestimating the task of beating the Peckers tomorrow. They will be tough to beat and Mallala will need to field their best available team to be any chance.

Some interesting games tomorrow.
A grade. Pies 1-39. Balaklava finals experience got them through last week and Virginia would be disappointed at being knocked out. Mallala with a few questionable inclusions wrt to injuries and lack of match practice. I notice 24 listed on sporting pulse. I reckon they'll roll the dice on Montgomery, Cawrse, Earl and King (depending on how they pull up from training.). Home ground advantage will also help.
B Grade. Pies 1-39. With at least four A graders coming in Virgina will be a much better team than last week. But from what I saw last week, they'll need more than 4 or 5 players to beat Mallala at home. If Montgomery, Cawrse, Earl and King play A grade, there will be 4 players dropping into B grade that will offset the Virginian inclusions anyhow.
Senior Colts - TW in an upset
Junior Colts - TW

I noticed in the Producer this week, Mallala has every Netball and Football team represented in the Prelim or GF except A5 (knocked out last week) and Junior Colts (missed top four by percentage). A fair effort that.

Don't think Monty got an invitation, so I'd rule him out of top 3.

I also think the Dowdell/Michael quinella is on the cards.

Wow, who's going from mallala? Stribs and Duncan will be sniffing around the top too. Have they had the 2's vote yet??? Galbraith would have one hand on it...?

On what?

Clements and Farrely are Mallala's candidates I think.

No one from two wells a real chance for me, I think Ned Seccafien and lee Allmond the 2 best for the yr but Allmond great start early but will die off mid way when Seccafien will start to poll. Previous years have shown some odd but deserving results so never really know. Only from the games I've seen I would think, Duncan or dowdell would be very close if not win. Howell not far behind

Well done to all the medal winners this year, I think the umpires got it about right in every grade, all worthy winners, now for the big week ahead, good luck picking winners,
Just one thing I was over hearing Saturday from a lot of other team supporter's was the big improvement of Hamleys junior colts and how they have all of a sudden improved near the end of the year, cant see what the problem is and good on them for making the big day unless I am missing something!!

I understand a few have been added mid season, although I don't have a problem with this.

If all done above board, whats their beef, good to see a side that has struggled for many years make a grand final
