So obviously Havens don't include finals in votes.

Mind blown.

Nah mate no finals included, today was always programmed for our medal count regardless of finals results - hectic time of the season with preso + footy trips + afl finals, it's hard to find many free dates

Correct Q, in my senior career since 08 I'm pretty certain we never have. We did ours last Saturday, the weekend after round 18.

Yep DK, we have never included finals and I actually have never heard of anyone including finals in theirs but I don't get out much. I get a bit dizzy crossing the Birkenhead bridge so Houghton is a foreign land to me.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Was at IF for junior finals yesterday, was funny to see the canteen lady chase her two sons who were jovially well into Mad Monday back upstairs, if she only had a wooden spoon. Her eldest gave high 5's all around when we commented on his Mums fine hotdogs.

In my 20 odd years of senior footy I have never played at a club that counts finals - although there has been a player of the finals trophy though.

That's what we do. Best and fairest for minor round and a trophy for player of the finals.

Yeah, more of a Stupid Sunday/vote count day. We will probably do Mad Monday after the C grade finish for the year. Like to do things as a club at IF.
BTW, been at IF 19 seasons and B&F has never included finals. No need to change it.

We count votes until the season is finished. Im not sure why voting would stop at round 18 if your season doesn't?
But we're all different which is why our great game is so great!

IMO finals should be included in voting and I am not sure why clubs wouldn't include them as well as a best finals player. though I also don't agree with having a best finals player award if the team only plays in 1 final that year
