AFL Finals - week # 3.

by Spargo » Sat Sep 13, 2014 11:54 pm

And then there were 4.

Preliminary Finals weekend.

Friday night @ ANZ Stadium - Sydney v North Melbourne

Saturday night @ MCG - Hawthorn v Port Adelaide

North & Port bucked the trend by winning against the odds & history.
Sydney & Hawthorn are red hot faves this week, you would think they would win...

It's a real pity Sydney have to play at ANZ, its a pig of a place to play footy compared to the SCG.

I hope selections continue Dedja my good man!

But as Spargs pointed out but North and Port will go in 3 to 1 under dogs but both games are a 2 horse race and footy is a funny game especially finals footy.

My only problem is I'll be there but no Red cans at the G :(

Flights already sold out going from Adelaide and mildura to Melbourne next weekend! Lucky I got tickets last night out from mildura. Only $300 compared to the $700 some other guys have paid. Got really lucky in the end

Is boomer gone? Or is he safe?

There was no need for him to bump selwood.

He gets booed every week.
Brereton & Carey got booed every week because they were so good. There's no doubting that Selwood's a good player but that's not why he gets booed. It's because he plays for frees, gets looked after, sooks and now you can add dobbing to that list.

Would the media go into melt down if north and port make the GF. All they have been talking about the last couple weeks is it's almost impossible to make it to the GF outside the 4
