The best thing about this Grand Final is that Centrals supporters are ******* spewing. Beautiful.

"How cute. Such a lovely post.

So just confirming :

Can I or can I not wear my scarfe? ( Most sports around the world have similar items, not unique to Port Adelaide, we are aware of that )

I may wear my Penrith Panthers hat, please confirm this is acceptable attire, I would hate to be turned away at the gate if dressed in a manner deemed unacceptable by you and your MONSFAW kindred.

Thanks mate."

I know you did actually get my point Booney and you're just being impish.

That said, you can turn up in any combination of the confused branding your club puts out (you've got quite a few options), but your team still doesn't belong. It aint the Magpies anymore, its an AFL Reserves side....and that's a shame. And its a shame for supporters of SANFL clubs who want to watch their team contest finals against the Magpies.

The league's self interested backflippers vs the AFL interlopers. Cant bloody wait..

Couple that with the fact that the Power will dominate the football landscape this week and the SANFL will be more of an after-thought that usual, and you couldn't have scripted a more undesirable set of circumstances for the GF really. All we need now is Meatloaf for the prematch.

From what I have observed (as a neutral), the turn up of Port fans to the SANFL finals so far has been below expectations.

From 1st to 2nd week of finals they crowds usually go up about 20% ... this year take out Eagles (who I have often been told have no fans) and add Port and there was an increase of just 1,000.

yesterday from my walk around the oval during the 3rd quarter yesterday South fans in caps scraves shirts etc actually seemed to outnumber Port ones, were certainly louder when goals were kicked (that would have been aided by support of neutrals there).

You know Norwood fans will turn up in huge numbers
Port fans ???
Neutrals ???

In 1999 the Port v Norwood GF @ Football Park crowd was 39,135.

I think they will get 30,000, possibly 35,000 with decent weather and reasonable media coverage ... 40K would be a massive stretch.

Won't all the Port supporters be in Melbourne watching their A grade?

REB, the best part of your post is that it shows we're still in your thoughts.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

;)

That leaves 3 current teams without a Premiership at AO
Adelaide Reserves
Central Districts
Port Reserves

Wrong Tricky Ricky i am spewing because we have an AFL club that has been gifted a SANFL Grand Final appearance.

I am spewing because the Panfers have been robbed of a Grand Final appearnce by these PARASITIC AFL SKUM !!!

I am spewing because East Perth the EAGLES AFL RESERVES have also been gifted a GF appearance.

I am spewing because the AFL/VFL invasion of all state leagues is now complete !!

I am spewing because your club and JUDAS Tripodi voted yes !!!

I am spewing because i think this result will alienate thousands more away from the SANFL next year !!

I am spewing because this might be the demise the the once great SANFL !!!

I could go and on like many of the SANFL purists have been doing so all year !!

I hope all you AFL RESERVISTS are all now very happy with this utter FARCE !!!!!!
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.

Hit em hard let them get up and hit em again.

And all this in a venue designed to attract neutrals too, hard to imagine SANFL finals crowds will ever get bigger than this year's (disappointing) numbers.

Still ranks amongst the best games of footy I've ever seen. F**k it. :D
