Club has released a media statement refuting claims of course.
Jake's manager was on radio not long ago and said there is no truth to the rumours, he is totally comitted to the club. Also said will not ever accept any ASADA penalty and intends to fight it

and it is extremely rare for someone to deny rumours to the media then act in the complete opposite manor

Hird may just reap what he had sewn...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Looks like Bomber is staying on in a newly created role. Will be in charge of player development.
Simon Goodwin has been given permission to seek out the Melbourne job under Roos, if he goes it looks like Mark Harvey to come in.
Carlisle also in negotiations to extend his contract to 2018, Ryder still worries me, reckon he is as good as gone, hopefully we can talk him around

I thought bomber's new role was to make sure Hirdy doesn't pump them full of banned substances again

Neil Craig's job is to oversee the coaches.

Surely you can do better than that though kickinit, probably should worry about your own clubs ethics

Should worry about my clubs ethics? You got to be kidding me, your club allowed Hird to inject a banned substance that was declared as not fit for human use. Everyone single muppet in that club should be sacked. Putting kids lives at risk is the most unethical thing that could happen in a sports club. I hope Hird's injection helped his tan during his break.

More unethical than being a rapist or even worse paying hush money to the victim to keep it quiet?

We all know how these one go Jim. Have you ever spoken to someone that has been raped? The last thing they want is money and the rapist to get away with it. There will always be these "rape" case in professional sport, why because it wasn't rape it was a way to get money.

If your happy to have that cheating scum as your head coach then good luck with. Professional will never be in the same sentence as James Hird because he will always be known for putting kids life at risk.

You really need to read through the several hundred pages of court documents pertaining to the ASADA case.
There was several emails gathered by ASADA between Hird and Dank where Hird specifically outlined that ALL drugs used must not be on any banned list by WADA or ASADA. Dank assured Hird that all was legitimate several times. Dank also in a sworn statement to the ACC stated this aswell. One can argue that Hird and others on the board should of kept a tighter leash on Dank but at the end of the day it was a poor decision to appoint Dank and one decision the club will regret forever

Also in the ASADA and Essendon reports it states that the Dr Reid and Thompson told Hird they didnt like what was happening and Hird did nothing to change it. Those emails could have been sent to add some cover to what was really going on.

We'll find out on Friday if the Show Cause Notices are still in effect or not.

Lost the case and have to pay ASADA's legal cost. The Bombers and Hird can still appeal this decision.

The alleged rapist in this case was accused twice. Once by someone on the other side of the world that would have no idea that he was a professional athlete. How unlucky is he that he would meet two 'opportunistic' women obviously just after his money. The poor guy, what a victim he is.

Next you'll be telling us that Ray Rice's wife deserved to be hit.

Personally wouldnt bother. Think they will cop it see what happens now.
Some players may look at taking a Cronulla type deal if others want to fight it could be 2 years before a verdict. Really dont think we are much closer to an outcome yet

Agree with this. The players may still be able to beat ASADA in the doping charges.
