Hopefully the Norwood boys arent worrying about who does or doesnt play and are just focussed on getting their set-ups/game plan right to beat Port again.

Honestly I'm pumped for this Sunday and its going to be one hell of an emotional afternoon.

Norwood are slight favourites in the betting. NWD $1.75 PA $2.05 according to Sportsbet.

I think that's probably about right, that's how I see the game. It's 2-1 Norwood's way this year, and the game Norwood lost they kicked themselves out of. Not a lot between the sides though and certainly would not be surprised by a Port win.

Strange that the u/18s grand final isn't being played at Adelaide Oval on Sunday, i guess everything is changing, used to enjoy going as a neutral to watch the u/18s & reserves play beforehand.

I suppose that's the only way you'll get to see a Grand Final. ;)

Haha, we're not even a chance at playing in any of them either these days. Still think it's disappointing, i can only guess it's because of the Adelaide Oval surface that it was moved or the geniuses at SANFL headquarters thought it was a good idea.

I think with the Screaming Jets on before the GF on Sunday, it would have meant the Under 18's would have had to start before 9:00am !!!

I think it is good that the GF is being played on the Friday night, but think it would have been better at The Parade, than the Bay...

The SANFL will be LIVE streaming and commentating the Under 18's, and Reserves, Grand Final on their website...

I think just the reserves and League is all we need on GF day. It has mainly been that way .

Good band as entertainment , good work !

Wrong Tricky Ricky i am spewing because we have an AFL club that has been gifted a SANFL Grand Final appearance.

I am spewing because the Panfers have been robbed of a Grand Final appearnce by these PARASITIC AFL SKUM !!!

I am spewing because East Perth the EAGLES AFL RESERVES have also been gifted a GF appearance.

I am spewing because the AFL/VFL invasion of all state leagues is now complete !!

I am spewing because your club and JUDAS Tripodi voted yes !!!

I am spewing because i think this result will alienate thousands more away from the SANFL next year !!

I am spewing because this might be the demise the the once great SANFL !!!

I could go and on like many of the SANFL purists have been doing so all year !!

I hope all you AFL RESERVISTS are all now very happy with this utter FARCE !!!!!!

Good post. I'm against all that as well.

regards,

REB

I am pretty sure if the power lose Saturday they are not eligible to play due not enough qualifying games. The question was asked to hocking at the sanfl press conference yesterday about what does this do to your line up if the power lose Saturday.

Just seems to contradict what the constitution says but I hope you are right. Impey doesn't do much but I think they would miss Young.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygRtRf0TSko The question is asked at about the 11:35min mark of the video. Hocking is asked if the Power lose are Impey and Young unable to play and he answers yes.

The proximity to my residence would have simply been a bonus ;)
I would have preferred The Parade, to the Bay, from a selfish point of view, yes...

Myself and John Nankivell are commentating the game for the SANFL Live Stream and having called night footy at both The Bay and The Parade, I know which one I prefer :)

Not so bad if it was a League game, because I am comfortable with my player ID for all League clubs, but they will be Under 18's kids that I wouldn't have seen all too much of.

Being perched directly above the action on centre wing at The Parade would have made recognition of some unknown faces a little easier than it will be at The Bay, particularly at night.

At least the Under 18's have numbers on the front of their jumper. That will assist.
