Goodwin isnt coming back, recently sold off most of his interest in the pubs and dont think he has any intention of returning to Adelaide. He will take the Melbourne job

Sando probably told them the truth about where the playing squad is actually at in the real world.

Tend to agree - his first season we had a drea, draw and nearly snuck into a GF because of it - then all the sh*t hit the fan - Baily suspended for Melbourne tanking saga, the Tippett saga and then the sad passing of Baily to cancer - the bloke never really had a chance! Not saying he was any good - cant really tell because apart from our top 6-7 our list is ordinarry - the man cant polish a turd all that well maybe!

So you would now expect that the board that clearly endorsed him a year ago and renewed his contract for a further 2 years must now step down as well because there credibility is now shot to pieces.

Not saying he was a good coach or poor coach because I have never met him or been involved in the inner sanctum but this smacks of a new CEO trying to make a strong statement, out with the old and in with the new, and one must wonder what part Roo had in this.

Could it be a case from the new CEO of getting the club legends on side to build strength around him.

I could be way off the mark but weren't the ACT Brumbies involved in some coach sacking controversy a few years ago? (something to do with long haired bogan looking guy

This decision would have been made prior to the new CEO coming in, decisions like this dont happen overnight, 3 of the board have been involved in his process and have been named in the Crows media release

Yes I understand that, but this happened today and he started work Monday, surely he must have ratified it.

I think Sando deserved at least another season

the results they had this year were akin to Roos last season with close matches

Even with what happened over the last two years, the Crows still should have made finals this year. Five games they should have won but lost then all

Johnny Haysman wears odd socks every day and wears a dead koala as a back pack. Still would have done a better job than the Trigg run board.

Pretty plain and simple. Is Brenton Sanderson the best Coach available in AFL ranks currently?

If he ain't who the heck is?

Well cough up the coin and get the right bloke if it **** up ill die on my own sword. A club of these resources shouldn't put up with mediocrity and won't any longer. . Do you want to be another Richmond or Carlton?

These are true questions Fagan would have asked the board as a true proffesional. Everyone will be on notice this bloke don't **** around.
