BL&G Football League

Great day for the Lions. Absolutely smashed Willaston in all areas today, margin could of been larger in the end. Willaston tried to go the biff when they were getting towelled up, even more staggering was the umpires letting them get away with it. Dont see the point in having an emergency umpire when they spend most of the time on the ground lecturing the waterboys about staying on the ground for a few seconds too long yet seemed to be powerless to stop the off the ball incidents.
Anyway off to the GF and a much tougher task against a very good Centrals side. Hats off to our senior colts aswell for battling through in extra time and defeating our more fancied opposition.
Gawler derbies in 3 of the 4 grades next week

Think the day will be very well supported by the Gawler Clubs (Days made the same comment last year, and it was a huge success). Hope the buses are well patronised, hearing plenty intend to use them.

Judges must of watched a differant game. Reckon atleast 4 other Centrals players were better than Brading. Molyneux and Jamar were the two best for me

At GC it was Charlie Molyneux in a close count from Daniel Stanley, with Corey Solly 3rd.

Had heard that.
His lad's at Faith now, so there's a connection.
The Underwood boys might play on?
I'd also suggest Tanunda will be a very tough unit next season, he's a hard man is Griff.
Fit, aggressive and got every ounce of footy out of himself.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Nuri been busy in the off season. Signed a couple of massive guns. Must be plenty of money out there. Early premiership favourites if what I'm hearing are true.

Would need to have brought in 8 or 9 players to be flag favourites.
From what I hear around the traps all of the Gawler sides will improve on this season and I wouldnt be surprised to see Centrals go close to being undefeated. The other sides were miles off the pace and I just cant see anyone else troubling them without adding half a dozen decent players atleast
