I'd be after Shoenmakers more than Giles if I were Adelaide.

Why, they've got no need for Giles, they need another defender.

They must have backup for Jacobs .. Little chance he'll get through the year again as unscathed as this one. No reason why they couldn't go after both though, wouldn't think either would really cost them a heap in player/pick.

To be honest, the bloke can kick a ball better than a fair chunk of the Adelaide midfield.

He does get found out on the gorillas and someone with genuine leg speed, but turnovers aren't his achilles heel.

talia would take the best defender every week too. even with rutten in the side talia had been taking the biggest and best, even if they could have been more suited for truck.

at the moment we would be completely screwed if talia or jacobs went down, so this is the areas we need to get someone, even more than a pacy mid

Totally agree with the above Mattee. There are far worse currently on AFL lists the Schoey (Z.Dawson comes to mind). To back Talia up and then dependent on matchups play Hartigan at points of the year is not the worst thing to happen. Schoey is only 23 and from SA, and I think he needs to be backed in to do a job, gain some confidence and Walsh could be the man to do it.

Stitched up that billion dollar forward line when it mattered. and thats Matt Spangher, premiership player, to you wubby.
Swans could do with another tall defender, Richards on the way out and Grundy already there.
Why didnt you guys try and get Patfull? Maybe we could ship Schoey off to our Sydney franchise

Yeah they are but they are close to the end of their careers and u have no back up, why wouldnt you trade in some key defenders?
If you lost one of them you could kiss goodbye to any chance of a premiership coming during the Lance era.
