He's huge... ;)

he is probably closer in height to the list i mentioned than Otten, Thompson etc.

Otten is a bit of a spud, its going to sound harsh but I wouldn't have kept him on the list especially now that he is injured.

Shaw can't kick and is a bit of a spud

Thompson is too slow

We won't be a top 4 team until we get a decent 193+ defender who isnt shite

i never said he is huge.

but he is a mid sized defender, not like laird, jaensch or brown which are small defenders.

looks like he is basically being recruited to stand those ziebell types that cut us apart in that game, because at the moment otten or henderson (or thompson) had to play full back against those guys

They should concentrate on being a top 8 team first.

I think in talent we are already. Lost some unlosable games this year, which points to mindset and/or coaching.

True, but list management decisions shouldnt be made on whos good enough to get you top 8, its more of who's good enough to bring success.

He'll also be second in line for the SPF30+ behind Jacobs.

And/or talent. ;)

I think Adelaide have a core of 6-8 that is reflective of a top 6-8 side, I think the next group of 6-8 is 8-10th and I think their last 6-8 is 10th or below.

I'm not confident in securing Ryder anymore.

I think we should turn all our attention to getting Gorringe across the line before the day is out.

The AFL will make sure it happens, they don't want it going to the grievance tribunal.

Essendon already traded to get Giles, why, because they know Ryder won't be there next year.

It'll happen Valleys, put your mind at rest!

If Port get Ryder, why would they want Gorringe with Redden on the comeback trail? He would be fourth in line

they reckon if WB accept 37 for cooney it will get the Ryder deal done

Port - get Ryder give up 17, 37
WB - get 37
Essendon - Cooney and 17
