If that is the team (only a squad announced in the media release) then Zorbs is very stiff to miss out. Guess the damp weather predicted for the weekend will influence the selectors going with the extra seam bowler or not

It looks fragile and promising in the one glance, if that makes sense.

Just a guess from the 12 named.

One bowler will have to drop out.

Can;t see any of the top 6 missing except rapha

If McDonald is fit enough to bowl id drop Botha. Surely Zamps is a better option purely as a spinner?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

We can't continue to bat Botha at 6. Won't win anything with him there.

If McDonald is fit to bat and bowl I'd drop Botha everyday of the week. Very good short form bowler. Not so effective in the Shield.

We really don't need Botha chucking down 30+ overs.

All this said. If Mcdonald can't bowl we need to persist with Botha.

A bowler will miss I think but which one I'm not sure. Boats can not bat 6! With McDonlad fit means he shouldn't.

Will come down to the faith the selectors have in the bowlers being able maximise the conditions during the match. Saturday is predicted to be the coldest cricket day in Adelaide that I can remember for years so an extra quicker bowler could be

Drop Botha? You blokes are on some seriesly good gear.

Won't happen whilst he is playing for SA and right now nor do I think he should.

For mine the pitch determines who is 12th man my gut says Minnie if Red can bowl. I like Zampa in the side.

Hopefully the ICC suspend him again for chucking and we wont have to worry about him taking up a spot

BOTHA
On last years form , and if he was Australian , he would prob be Australias spinner.

I say forget about his chuckitis issues , and go on results
He bowls a lot of overs , allowing the faster bowlers to freshen up
He is an integral part of the team , and one of the reasons we almost made the SS final last season

He plays for South Australia
Thats a good enough for me
I will be supporting him

Raphael 12th I reckon.

Ludemann/Botha at 6 and 7.

Five bowlers including two spinners. Issue last year at AO was taking 20 wickets.
This is Tony Clifton! A name to respect! A name to fear!

Chad was born 31/8/1987
At 25 he should be peaking and hopefully he has another BIG season
117 wickets @24 is outstanding for a bowler who bowls at Adelaide Oval a fair bit

If Sayers was born 9 days earlier he would not be a Virgo, he would be a Leo
