Believe brahma are putting together a competitive team for 2015.

Word on the street is a returning full forward wants a 75 goal season. Any truth?

I thought big Ryan McKee would want more than 75 for the year

Being a former and future player I think the club is doing it thr right way. I know they won't over spend and the fact a lot of past players are returning is only a good sign for the club.

I realise that Kilburn/Brahma recruiting past players is almost a necessity due to the points system/lack of junior resources and to an extent they don't have much choice if they wish to become instantly competitive.

But for those of us looking on from the sidelines there's something very cringeworthy about watching the exact players who got them in their various perilous situations coming back after each having dropped a few grades.

Quite literally when the going got tough these players got going.

They will be the most disliked club in the SAAFL if things turn to shit again.

I find it quite funny these blokes go running back now they are in Div 6. Mates with a few of the guys and don't try and tell me money isn't involved as they are not shy in letting you know.

Just a question, but when the league sees the clearances going in will they look at keeping them in 5 or where they should be?

Who's going to tell Blackfriars or Rosewater?

Maybe they can take Salisbury West's spot in Div 3 or Kilburn's in Div 4 :p

Was good to see the Adelaide oval in all it's glory. Get back in June so will be looking forward to getting to a game or 2 and see if the atmospher is as good as it looks on the computer.

I agree/know some players will be getting $$$$, however the club has never not payed a player and always been very fiscally responsible. A lot of the past players see an option to play together before they become past legends of the games and drinking way too much on the sideline. I believe the club will do things a lot differently this time around and look to build towards a quicker rise through the grades.

I don't think looking at a quick rise through the grades is the answer, that's what plonked you in the shit in the first place, should focus on rebuilding a culture of players that want to play for the Lodge regardless of how well their wallets can be filled.
I wish you guys well but I can't help but shake my head reading that sort of comment.
