The strategy is to outperform our previous best result in Division 1 (2 wins) and then clinch 8th spot.

Lots of talk about other D1 clubs losing quality players. PNU adding a couple more ex-Norwood players perhaps?

I think Salisbury North will be very good next year too.

rob long and josh ralph from salisbury nth have signed for Athelstone. dropping from div 1 to div 3 you think they will be very handy you would think?

Wow wee, what a load of shit.

Yes PNU effectively went 19-1 to the Premiership last year but I'm sure that wise old Paddington Bear look alike will have no illusions about how big the step to Div 1 is as we didn't assimilate well in 2010. 2015 will be a huge challenge make no mistake about it.

The talk on here seems to reflect PNU dominance but that would far from the thoughts of the Senior Coaching group. There will certainly be some handy ins and the majority of the group have committed from what I have been told but PNU won't go throwing huge money at big names. Their back to back premierships have been built around the junior football program's and how the 10-12, 18-21 year olds adapt to the faster, fitter div 1 footy is likely to be the barometer for the levels of success.

It will be truly interesting to see how they go with possibly their two most dominant players of the last decade possibly not playing.

2 questions:

1) Who looks like Paddington Bear?

2) Who was the other retirement? (Louis?)

Maccas kids used to (not sure if they still do) call him Paddington Bear.

The other ones not a retirement.

Not sure on Louie, he's still playing good enough footy to play next year so I'd imagine he would

Shane Tuck's a bargain, 4 points for Goodwood (less from 5 for 2014_) but only 2 points for us
