If this was a footy team coming off a couple of bad years it would be "sack the coach, the players are hacks etc". Our state cricket team has been a disgrace for two decades and some around here think we should just bite our tongues and accept this mediocrity....**** that!

Redbacks only needed to last 81 overs on a pitch where the opposition declared after facing 182 overs. We couldn't last even half. Pathetic.

The Redbacks are worse than Sam Stosur at consistantly letting us down, bugger me what a disgrace
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

What a bizarre comment. What has Stosur done to you? Just a crack for no reason and smacks of a bloke who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Yes I was there
Siddle got variable bounce
Ahmed got sizeable spin
They both bowled very well
Amazing transformation in the pitch for the SA innings
Most wickets fell to defensive shots , batsmen not good enough

Cam White in hindsight was right on why he batted on and on and on and on and on
But Ive heard something that if correct is not impressing me

And guess what
If SA had batted well and saved the game , none of this would be public

Never seem to hear of a motivational failure

Siddle around the wicket, balls keeps slightly low, strikes cosgrove who was playing back and is plumb LBW. No problem with this but what happens next is something that irks me no end.

Cosgrove glares at the wicket for 10 seconds having a cry about how low it kept

10 seconds?

I know we are all prone to exaggeration but i just saw it on the news and whilst i agree his technique should have been better, 10 seconds is ridiculous.
As all batsmen do when fired LBW, they lament it for a second or two and off they go and Cosgrove did nothing more that from what i saw.
The big problems for so long apart from a team thin on talent has been the coach and selectors and it doesnt seem that its going to be solved anytime soon.

His prerogative for whatever reasons to bat till stumps
Time will tell if VI conjure a win from here
However the game as a spectacle has snuffed out for SA , now seemingly out of winning contention

My intentions were to see day 3 and day 4
Thats all changed after the VI batfest , I wont be attending day 4 at this stage
Should I blame
White ?
The Curator?
The SA bowlers ?

Utter DISGRACE.
Have been a Saca member for over 30 years and going to games there for well over 40 years.
This will be the last year im a member of SACA.
Cricket is DEAD
Drop in pitches are a DISGRACE !!!!!!
Shield cricket has become a bore. (Its FREE anyway so no benefit being a member). Cant even sit in the stand behind the bowlers arm anymore. DISGRACE !
The one day comp is a FARCE that we dont even get to see any more.
The Big Bash is a FARCE that has NO relevance. No one could re call who won it last year. No one knows who is playing where.
That leaves the International matches as the ONLY games of relevance. Well thats not true either.
The recent T20 was a JOKE that no one cared about.
That leaves the Test match. Yeah that should be good but hardly can justify paying a years subscription to go for a couple of days to the Test.
Back in 1992 my membership got me into the World Cup matches BUT NOT this time.
Yep, its Goodbye SACA to me
:butthead:

FFS i buy my membership and go to the 1st day of the test and thats it. expensive day.
what is the current waiting list for membership?
