if a central accessible location was established for training would the club be more appealing to new players, removing the factor of travelling through mountain goat country landscapes just to get to the ground over & over every week?

It take like 3 mins to get to the TTG pub. 5 mins to get to TTGFC or HVFC.

And you know what, it's accessible by road! You can even drive your car there. Don't even need a 4WD.

But they don't have phone reception yet ;)

So the perfect club to play for if you want to get away from the Missus. You have a legitimate reason not to answer the phone
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Golden Grove had quite a strong Division 8 campaign. Surely they're a chance to come up.

Is there any chance that Wingfield and/or Flinders Uni will field two sides?

Mitchell Park and Flinders Uni will be two completely separate entities in 2015.

MP are cautiously confident of fielding two sides as well.

If either of these two teams don't get 2 sides up does that mean they are out of the league?

I do know the new rule that was voted in by the delegates on one team clubs being booted out of the league after they have had their one year of grace of only having one team?

i have heard of talk around that it could be considered that a C grade team play as a reserve team for a div 7 club that is struggling

so for example you could see mitchell park with its A grade and another example Pooraka C grade being the B grade side in div 7

They will be alright in 2015 but will probably get the boot in 2016. I doubt Wingies will get 2 sides up for next year.

Mitchell Park will be fine, lots happening. Flinders Uni should field two teams as well and 2016 ???? we will both be around the mark then too.

Mitchell Park have meet the 'coaches' night Friday and to be honest we have put together a combination to take us forward for some years. Really excited.

Think they are trying to make it happen. It will depend on the league executive voting on it first and then the required 55 players registered by March 1st. Good luck with that one, maybe one team and C division at best.

just another club 2kms from the next one

my other notion is if Flinders Uni easily get 2 teams, but MP dont, then Flinders Uni would then hold the cards in regards to whether they take the lions in or not, AND flinders uni oval would be home turf cos they hold saviour in the game of thrones lol whereas an assumed merger would see MPs home ground be the home base

am only speculating of course, maybe these 2 would rather die than merge, but i think the league will not allow 1 team clubs anymore??? 55 players says yankman

could we also be seeing edwardstown joining div 7 :)

No. Towns are committed to SFL and will have their juniors back in 2015.

As I said before MP have worked tirelessly so far in the off season and all expectations are to field two teams. New committee, new coaching structures and a recruiting sub committee. :D
