These guys finished 2nd, 5th,6th and 9th in the league for goals, then add to that the loss of the number 1 ruckman in the league Dowdell and the number 1 midfielder in the league Stribling and Hamley look like they are in a lot of trouble next year. Have they got a coach yet? Why isn't Heberle going around again?

I was under the impression that clubs can reject the first request for a clearance, but will basically be forced to clear the player on the second attempt, i.e. standard SANFL procedure as I understand it. This is obviously different to the Barossa league, whereby a club can refuse to clear to another club within same league (within 3 years of leaving original club???) ?

Yeah, unless there's financial grounds, ie: player owing club money, then the clearance can't be refused.

Well, it can but ultimately the CFB grants it eventually. I think on the third attempt.
